What You Will Do:
Pratt & Whitney’s WPB GTF MRO organization is seeking an execution-focused Non-Product & Internal Repair Supply Chain Manager (M5) to lead site-level supply chain execution across non-product materials, tooling and equipment purchasing, contract governance, supplier management, and internal repair purchasing.
This role will strengthen how the site plans, tracks, and governs critical supply chain activity in support of engine overhaul performance. The position is responsible for improving execution discipline across supplier commitments, contract requirements, material availability, internal repair tracking, and escalation routines.
The ideal candidate is a leader who can operate close to the business, influence site execution, and connect supply chain priorities to monthly engine output.
The selected candidate will partner with WPB operations, materials, engineering, quality, EHS, finance, RTX sourcing, and site leadership to reduce execution gaps, strengthen supplier accountability, and ensure non-product and internal repair activity is managed, tracked, and aligned to engine delivery commitments.
Key Responsibilities:
Non-Product Supply Chain Execution
Responsible for the purchasing governance, supplier management, contract oversight, and availability of non-product materials and services required to support site operations. Scope includes industrial supplies, gases, chemicals, packaging, shipping supplies, shop supplies, tooling, equipment, services, and other indirect requirements that support engine execution.
Lead site-level non-product supply chain execution, including purchasing governance, supplier management, contract alignment, and material availability for indirect materials and services.
Support RFQ/RFP activity, supplier negotiations, benchmarking, cost improvement, supplier selection, and contract optimization in partnership with RTX Sourcing, Legal, Finance, and business stakeholders.
Manage supplier relationships and supplier performance for assigned non-product, tooling, equipment, service, and Internal Repair purchasing scope.
Provide governance over contracts related to non-product supply chain, tooling, equipment, services, packaging, gases, chemicals, and other assigned supply chain areas.
Partner with RTX Sourcing, Legal, Finance, Operations, Engineering, EHS, Facilities, and business stakeholders to support contract lifecycle management, compliance, renewals, amendments, pricing, and supplier obligations.
Establish governance routines to track open purchase orders, late commitments, aged Internal Repair actions, tooling and equipment needs, contract actions, shortages, cost exposure, and recovery plans.
Ensure compliance with corporate sourcing policies, purchasing governance, internal controls, supplier requirements, contract obligations, and risk management expectations.
Communicate supply chain performance, risks, recovery plans, contract exposure, cost impacts, and business impact to site leadership.
Internal Repair Purchasing
Responsible for purchasing execution and governance for Internal Repair activity. This includes purchase order execution, repair requirement tracking, and escalation of internal repair purchasing actions tied to material readiness, production flow, and engine build schedules.
Lead internal repair purchasing governance, including PO execution, repair requirement tracking, priority alignment, aging PO management, commitment follow-up, and escalation management.
Ensure internal repair purchasing activity supports material readiness, production flow, G2/G3/G4 execution, shop priorities, and monthly engine output.
Drive purchasing discipline through accurate PO placement, supplier follow-up, delivery date management, invoice and receiving resolution, escalation, and closure of aged actions.
Support reorder point, min/max, safety stock, usage analysis, and demand planning processes for recurring non-product materials.
Lead and coach teams buyers supporting non-product supply chain, internal Repair purchasing, tooling, equipment, and assigned supply chain activities.
Qualification You Must Have:
Advanced Degree with 7+ years of experience in Operations, Engineering, Supply Chain, Purchasing, Supplier Management, Material Management, Contract Management, or a related operational environment ideally within an Aftermarket MRO or Aerospace Manufacturing environment; OR Bachelor's Degree and 10+ years of relevant industry experience; OR Associate’s degree and 12+ years of relevant industry experience; OR High School diploma or Military / Technical Training and 14+ years of relevant industry experience.
Experience managing purchasing activity, supplier follow-up, purchase order governance, contract compliance, or supply chain execution in a manufacturing, repair, overhaul, or industrial operations environment.
Qualifications We Prefer:
Bachelor’s degree in business, operations, supply chain, engineering, or related field.
Experience working cross-functionally with operations, materials, engineering, quality, EHS, facilities, finance, legal, sourcing, or related business functions.
Experience using SAP, Ariba, Excel, Power BI, reporting tools, or similar systems to manage purchasing performance, supplier commitments, open purchase orders, sourcing activity, contract visibility, and operational risk.
Experience in aerospace, MRO, FAA-regulated repair environments, or complex manufacturing operations.
Experience supporting non-product supply chain, indirect purchasing, Internal Repair purchasing, tooling and equipment purchasing, supplier performance management, or site supply chain execution.
Experience managing contracts, supplier agreements, pricing structures, service agreements, renewals, amendments, contract compliance, and supplier performance obligations.
Strong leadership presence with the ability to present performance, risks, recovery plans, contract exposure, supply chain constraints, and business impact to senior leadership.
Ability to communicate effectively with functional leaders, suppliers, buyers, sourcing partners, and site leadership.

The salary range for this role is 132,400 USD - 251,600 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
