Flexibility to work extended hours during premieres, press days, and festivals is essential, as is the ability to work independently while maintaining the highest level of professionalism.

About the team
The Amazon MGM Studios Movies PR team is a collaborative group of specialists organized into four Title/Campaign Teams, a Regional/Audience Strategies team, an Events team, and an International team. The Title/Campaign Teams equally divide the annual film slate and serve as the primary liaisons between talent representatives and cross-functional partners. They manage top-tier talent and press relationships, negotiate travel and logistics, secure high-profile media appearances, and conceptualize innovative communications plans that advance business objectives and drive new Prime memberships.
Supporting all four Title/Campaign Teams are three cross-functional groups. The Regional/Audience Strategies team extends each film campaign beyond top-tier coastal markets by activating publicity efforts in regional and secondary markets nationwide, cultivating relationships with local press, broadcast outlets, and influencers. This team also identifies opportunities to engage diverse and underrepresented audiences—including faith-based, LGBTQIA+, Hispanic/Latino, Black, and Asian communities—through targeted screenings, events, and press activations. Additionally, the team serves as the operational backbone for all press junket logistics, managing end-to-end coordination of interview days that bring together domestic, regional, and multicultural press to engage with talent and filmmakers.
The Events team produces large-scale film launch moments, including thematic red carpet premieres, special screenings, and festival activations. The International team acts as the primary point of contact for global territories on all publicity matters, adapting campaigns to resonate with local markets while maintaining brand consistency and facilitating communication between domestic talent teams and international press to align on interviews, junkets, and press tour logistics.
