Position Statement

The EMEA Pensions Senior Analyst supports the governance and delivery of retirement and financial wellbeing programmes across the region.

The role provides technical and operational support across a broad range of retirement and financial wellbeing activities, from the delivery of regional projects and initiatives to the day-to-day management of defined benefit (DB) and defined contribution (DC) pension arrangements.

A key focus of the role is the effective governance and compliance of our programmes, in line with relevant regulatory requirements.

The role also supports the administration and ongoing management of international retirement, medical and insurance benefit plans for globally mobile Team Members, helping to deliver a consistent and positive mobility experience.

The role works closely with the EMEA Director of Reward and Retirement, internal stakeholders, benefit providers, consultants, trustees and other external partners.

The successful candidate will demonstrate strong analytical capability, attention to detail and a solid understanding of pension plan operations gained through an in-house or consultancy role.

They will have a genuine interest in developing their career in retirement and financial wellbeing, combined with a passion for delivering high-quality service and creating positive outcomes for Team Members.

The role supports both corporate and hotel populations across EMEA and contributes to the effective delivery of Hilton's retirement and financial wellbeing strategy through robust analysis, stakeholder collaboration, and continuous process improvement.

 

Scope and Impact

This is a full-time professional contributor role supporting the delivery, governance and ongoing management of retirement and financial wellbeing programmes across the EMEA region. The role has responsibility for the oversight and administration of a diverse portfolio of benefit arrangements, including defined benefit (DB), defined contribution (DC), medical and insurance plans.

The role does not currently have direct people management responsibility but is expected to take ownership of key workstreams, projects and provider relationships, influencing outcomes through strong stakeholder management, technical expertise and effective collaboration. The role provides guidance, support and knowledge sharing to the wider EMEA Compensation & Benefits team and may evolve to include people management responsibilities in the future.

 

Decision Making and Complexity

The role operates with a high degree of autonomy within established policies, governance frameworks and strategic direction, with guidance from the EMEA Director of Reward and Retirement and the wider EMEA Compensation & Benefits team.

The Senior Analyst is expected to manage competing priorities, identify issues and risks, make recommendations and take ownership of routine operational and project decisions. More significant decisions relating to strategy, plan design, funding, governance policy and financial commitments are made in consultation with the EMEA Director of Reward and Retirement and other stakeholders.

The role requires accuracy, confidentiality and judgement when handling sensitive information, coordinating activity across stakeholders and working with external suppliers.

 

Key Working Relationships

Internal: EMEA Director for Reward and Retirement, wider EMEA Compensation & Benefits team, HR, Finance, Legal, Payroll and business stakeholders.
External: benefit providers, consultants, trustees, administrators and other external partners as required.

Key Accountabilities


•    Retirement Plan Management and Governance: Support the management and oversight of Hilton's retirement arrangements across EMEA, including UK defined benefit (DB) and defined contribution (DC) plans and international retirement arrangements. Accountable for ensuring plans are managed effectively, accurately and in compliance with regulatory requirements.

•    Team Member Engagement and Financial Wellbeing: Develop and deliver clear and engaging communications to support Team Member understanding of retirement and financial wellbeing programmes. Assist with educational campaigns, member communications and ongoing engagement activities.

•    International Benefit Plan Operations and Administration: Coordinate the administration of international retirement, medical and insurance benefit plans for globally mobile Team Members. Partner with internal stakeholders and external providers to promote a consistent approach across locations while supporting a smooth mobility experience.


•    Project Delivery: Lead or support the delivery of retirement and financial wellbeing projects across EMEA, taking ownership of assigned workstreams, project planning, implementation, stakeholder coordination, documentation and ongoing monitoring of key actions and milestones.

•    Data Management and Reporting: Produce, maintain, analyse and interpret plan data, reporting and management information. Support the preparation of insights, trend analysis and recommendations to inform decision-making and continuous improvement.

•    Vendor and Stakeholder Management: Build effective working relationships with benefit providers, trustees, consultants, administrators and internal stakeholders. Support performance monitoring and service reviews to help ensure high-quality service delivery.

•    Governance and Compliance Support: Coordinate governance activities including trustee meetings, pension committee meetings, regulatory filings, policy updates and documentation management. Track decisions and follow-up actions to support effective governance and compliance across all arrangements.

•    Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to improve and streamline processes, controls and ways of working. Support the implementation of enhancements that increase efficiency, accuracy and the overall Team Member experience.

•    Market and Regulatory Monitoring: Maintain awareness of retirement and financial wellbeing developments across EMEA. Support the assessment and implementation of regulatory changes, market developments and best practices where appropriate.

•    Reporting, Insights and Stakeholder Communication: Develop and deliver regular reporting, insights and updates. Support the communication of key priorities, achievements and business impact to internal stakeholders, governance bodies and business leaders to inform decision-making and demonstrate value.

Experience / Qualifications

 

Required
•    Good understanding of pensions operations and current regulatory requirements, gained from a similar role in-house or in consultancy 
•    Strong analytical and numerical skills, with the ability to make clear and logical recommendations based on factual data 
•    High degree of autonomy, strong organisational skills and attention to detail. 
•    Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook. 
•    Ability to work with data, documentation and trackers accurately. 
•    Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders. 
•    Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information appropriately. 
•    Some exposure to benefits, reward, or HR administration, project coordination or a related area. 
•    Fluent written and spoken English.

 

Preferred
•    Broad understanding of general HR processes. 
•    Familiarity with EMEA reward, benefits or retirement practices.
•    Experience supporting projects, third-party providers or multi-country activity. 
•    Experience of corporate processes, payroll, budgets and invoice management
•    Interest in hospitality, travel or international workforce environments. 
•    Relevant HR, reward, pensions or benefit administration qualification would be beneficial.
