We are looking for a commercially focused, data-driven, and highly organized Field Marketing Manager – Central Europe to lead marketing strategy and execution across the Central Europe region.
The Opportunity
As the Field Marketing Manager for Central Europe, you will play a critical role in driving pipeline growth, strengthening Vertiv's market leadership, and supporting business objectives across the region. Acting as a strategic partner to Sales and business leaders, you will translate commercial priorities into integrated marketing programs that generate demand, increase customer engagement, strengthen brand positioning, and deliver measurable business outcomes.
This role combines strategic planning with hands-on execution and offers ownership of the full marketing lifecycle, including campaign planning, demand generation, events, account-based marketing, partner marketing, public relations, customer advocacy, performance measurement, and budget management.
Success will be measured not by activity alone, but by your ability to influence pipeline, accelerate opportunities, drive engagement, improve brand preference, and demonstrate clear return on marketing investment.
What You'll Do
Marketing Strategy & Demand Generation
- Develop and execute the annual regional marketing plan aligned to business objectives and growth priorities.
- Translate commercial goals into integrated, multi-channel marketing programs that influence pipeline and revenue.
- Drive demand generation initiatives across digital, field, account-based and partner-led marketing activities.
- Adapt global marketing programs to local market requirements while maintaining consistent brand positioning.
- Continuously optimize marketing performance based on insights, market feedback, and business priorities.
Event Marketing & Customer Engagement
- Design and deliver high-impact customer, partner, and industry events that generate measurable business outcomes.
- Manage the full event lifecycle from planning and execution through lead follow-up and performance analysis.
- Create engaging attendee experiences that support relationship-building, opportunity creation, and thought leadership.
- Collaborate closely with Sales teams to maximize event-generated pipeline and opportunity conversion.
- Identify and manage speaking opportunities, industry panels, and thought leadership engagements.
- Execute partner marketing initiatives and co-funded activities to expand market reach and business impact.
Brand, Public Relations & Thought Leadership
- Develop and execute annual PR and social media plans aligned with regional objectives.
- Build and maintain relationships with media outlets, industry publications, and PR agencies.
- Secure relevant editorial coverage and support the creation of press releases, interviews, and contributed content.
- Partner with Sales and customers to develop case studies, references, and success stories that strengthen market credibility.
- Position Vertiv as the trusted leader in AI-ready critical digital infrastructure across the region.
Analytics, Performance & ROI Management
- Track campaign, pipeline, event, and marketing performance metrics across all activities.
- Utilize CRM, marketing automation, and analytics platforms to generate actionable insights and improve effectiveness.
- Produce regular performance reports with meaningful recommendations and clear business narratives.
- Monitor key metrics including MQLs, pipeline contribution, conversion rates, ROI, cost per lead, and opportunity creation.
- Optimize investments by reallocating resources toward activities delivering the strongest business results.
Budget Ownership & Financial Management
- Manage regional marketing budgets and ensure marketing investments align with strategic growth objectives.
- Make data-driven investment decisions based on commercial impact and expected return.
- Track ROI across programs and demonstrate Marketing's contribution to pipeline and business growth.
- Continuously improve operational efficiency, resource allocation, and marketing effectiveness.
Stakeholder & Sales Partnership
- Build strong relationships with Sales leaders, regional stakeholders, agencies, partners, and external industry organizations.
- Align marketing initiatives with sales priorities, target accounts, customer journeys, and growth objectives.
- Work cross-functionally with Digital, Content, Design, PR, and Global Marketing teams to ensure successful program execution.
- Act as a trusted business partner and influence stakeholders across a matrix organization.
Data Governance & Compliance
- Ensure compliance with GDPR, ePrivacy regulations, and internal data governance policies.
- Manage consent, data collection, retention, and activation processes across marketing programs and events.
What You'll Bring
Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
- Minimum 5 years' experience in a B2B marketing environment, ideally within technology, IT, telecommunications, electronics, data centre, or infrastructure industries.
- Minimum 3 years' experience managing events and field marketing programs.
- Proven track record of developing and executing marketing programs that drive measurable business outcomes.
- Experience working closely with Sales teams in complex enterprise B2B environments.
Skills & Knowledge
- Strong expertise in field marketing, demand generation, event marketing, PR, and campaign management.
- Excellent understanding of enterprise sales cycles and pipeline-focused marketing.
- Experience using CRM, marketing automation, and analytics platforms, including Oracle, 6Sense, Power BI, or similar tools.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to transform data into actionable business recommendations.
- Experience using AI-powered tools to improve productivity, content creation, data analysis, and operational effectiveness.
- Knowledge of the IT, telecom, data center, or critical infrastructure market is highly desirable.
- Strong stakeholder management and relationship-building capabilities.
- Professional business-level English.

The anticipated salary range for this role in the Warsaw, Poland is between 178,920 PLN to 223,650 PLN gross per year, based on a 40-hour work week. Salary ranges for other geographic localities may vary. Certain roles may be eligible for additional benefits. Where applicable, a comprehensive overview of the full benefits package and any additional compensation will be provided during the initial interview. Compensation ranges are determined based on objective, gender-neutral criteria including skills, experience, and job responsibilities.
