This Program Manager position is located within the Department of the Interior, National Park Service, Partnership and Civil Engagement (PCE), State and Local Assistance Division located in WASHINGTON, DISTRICT OF COLUMBIA. At the full performance level (GS-15) the major duties of this Program Manager position include, but are not limited to the following: Oversee and guide programs and managers to successfully achieve the organization/division mission and goals. Plan and facilitate strategic change that are aimed at achieving and improving the quality, effectiveness, accountability and timeliness of program's accomplishments. Apply technical knowledge, analyze challenges and evaluate alternatives and identify a course of action to address specific agency/program challenges. Strategically manage and guide planning and project management, human resources, financial and information resources. Advise management and executive leadership in the development of program policies, proposals, processes and recommendations.
