We are looking for an experienced Senior Node.js Developer with 5–8 years of hands-on experience in building scalable backend applications and cloud-native solutions. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in JavaScript/Node.js, REST API development, AWS cloud services, Infrastructure as Code using Terraform, and CI/CD implementation using GitHub Actions. The candidate will work closely with cross-functional teams to design, develop, deploy, and maintain secure and high-performing applications.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend applications using JavaScript and Node.js.
• Build, enhance, and maintain RESTful APIs following industry best practices.
• Develop and deploy cloud-native applications on AWS.
• Create and manage Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform.
• Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions.
• Collaborate with architects, DevOps engineers, QA, and frontend teams to deliver high-quality software.
• Optimize application performance, scalability, and reliability.
• Troubleshoot production issues and implement effective solutions.
• Participate in code reviews and enforce coding standards and best practices.
• Contribute to system design discussions and technical decision-making.

Required Skills

• 5–8 years of professional software development experience.
• Strong proficiency in JavaScript (ES6+) and Node.js.
• Extensive experience in developing and consuming REST APIs.
• Hands-on experience with AWS services such as EC2, Lambda, API Gateway, ECS/EKS, S3, IAM, CloudWatch, and RDS (or equivalent services).
• Strong experience with Terraform for provisioning and managing cloud infrastructure.
• Experience building CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions.
• Strong understanding of Git version control.
• Good knowledge of microservices architecture and distributed systems.
• Experience with SQL and/or NoSQL databases.
• Familiarity with authentication and authorization mechanisms (OAuth, JWT, etc.).
• Strong debugging, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
