TE TŪRANGA I THE ROLE:
We’re looking for a Project Manager to join our Strategic Planning and Delivery team and lead the end-to-end delivery of complex strategic initiatives across Sky.In this role, you’ll bring structure, clarity and momentum to high-impact, often interdependent workstreams, ensuring business and technology change is planned, governed and delivered in a way that creates measurable customer, commercial and operational value.
You’ll work across Technology, Product, Commercial, Finance and Operational teams, translating strategic priorities into executable plans, managing dependencies, risks and competing demands, and helping initiatives land well across the business.
With stakeholders and teams across both Auckland CBD and Mt Wellington sites, the ability to work across both office locations is required.
NGĀ HAEPAPA | ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES
- Lead the end-to-end delivery of complex strategic initiatives and multi-stream programmes, ensuring scope, budget, timelines, risks and benefits stay aligned to business priorities and approved investment outcomes.
- Develop and manage integrated delivery plans across multiple workstreams, maintaining oversight of milestones, dependencies, resourcing, financials and critical path activity.
- Establish and lead robust governance, reporting and escalation rhythms, giving senior leaders and executive stakeholders clear insight into progress, risks, trade-offs and decisions required.
- Work across business, technology and external delivery partners to align priorities, manage cross-functional dependencies and support organisational readiness for change.
- Lead delivery risk, issue and change management, proactively resolving blockers, managing impacts and supporting benefits realisation so initiatives deliver their intended value.

You’ll bring significant project and programme delivery experience, strong commercial judgement and the confidence to lead complex change across multiple teams. You’re structured, collaborative and outcomes-focused, with the ability to create clarity, influence senior stakeholders and keep momentum in fast-moving environments. Together with this, you’ll have:- Significant experience leading complex business and technology programmes or large-scale transformation initiatives in fast-paced, commercially driven environments.
- Strong capability in strategic delivery planning, financial management, governance, risk management and benefits realisation across multiple interdependent workstreams.
- Proven experience working across business, product, technology and vendor environments, with the ability to navigate complexity and align competing priorities.
- Strong executive stakeholder management skills, including the ability to influence decisions, challenge constructively and provide clear delivery insight at senior levels.
- A track record of leading high-impact change and delivering outcomes that create measurable customer, commercial or operational value.
