Essential Job Functions & Responsibilities:
- Develop, maintain, and continuously improve material forecasting models using historical consumption, production schedules, customer demand, inventory levels, and market trends.
- Utilize advanced analytical tools and statistical techniques to predict material requirements and optimize inventory strategies, including safety stock, reorder points, and min/max parameters.
- Design, build, and maintain automated reporting, dashboards, and planning tools that enhance visibility into material demand, inventory health, supplier performance, and forecast accuracy.
- Analyze large datasets to identify trends, risks, bottlenecks, and opportunities for supply chain optimization.
- Partner with cross-functional teams to develop data-driven solutions that improve material availability, inventory turns, service levels, and production continuity.
- Monitor inventory consumption patterns and proactively recommend inventory adjustments to support changing production requirements.
- Generate and manage material requisitions, track supplier commitments, and ensure timely delivery of critical production materials.
- Collaborate with Procurement and Operations teams to mitigate material shortages, excess inventory, and supply chain disruptions.
- Develop key performance indicators (KPIs) and performance metrics to measure forecasting effectiveness, inventory performance, supplier reliability, and planning efficiency.
- Ensure item master, routing, and Bill of Material (BOM) accuracy within the ERP system to support reliable planning and procurement activities.
- Lead root cause analysis efforts related to inventory discrepancies, planning variances, forecast errors, and material shortages.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives through process automation, workflow optimization, and implementation of digital supply chain solutions.
Create and maintain business intelligence solutions utilizing reporting and visualization platforms to support operational and strategic decision-making.
Work closely with IT and business stakeholders to identify opportunities for systems enhancements and process digitization.
Maintain strong communication with suppliers and logistics providers to ensure alignment on schedules, delivery commitments, and supply risks.
Occasionally travel to supplier locations to support supplier development and strengthen strategic partnerships.
Comply with all Plant policies and procedures, including EHS, Quality, Human Resources, and Code of Conduct requirements.
Skills:
Strong analytical, quantitative, and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate complex data into actionable business insights.
Demonstrated experience developing forecasting models, inventory optimization strategies, and supply chain analytics.
Experience building automated tools, dashboards, and reporting solutions using technologies such as Power BI, Tableau, SQL, Python, VBA, Power Query, or similar platforms.
Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including Power Pivot, Power Query, complex formulas, and data modeling.
Knowledge of ERP/MRP systems and supply chain planning methodologies.
Strong understanding of inventory management, demand planning, forecasting, and procurement processes.
Ability to independently manage projects while collaborating effectively across all organizational levels.
Comfortable working in both office and manufacturing environments and frequently engaging with shop floor operations.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree and 3 years of Supply Chain, Logistics, Data Analytics, or Procurement Experience.
- Proven track record of building automated tools or dashboards in a manufacturing environment.
