JOB PURPOSE
This role exists to lead Safety, Health, Environment and site security agenda for Foods LATAM that includes 2 sites in Mexico, 2 sites in Brazil and 2 sites in Argentina, also working in partnership with other categories in Mexico to assure legal compliance.
As part of the supply chain leadership team for Foods SSHE, you will have a dynamic role with a strong contribution driving SHE initiatives of the Foods function, influencing and driving world class performance.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Implement Global SSHE policies and standards driving compliance
Conduct regular safety audits and inspections to identify and mitigate risks.
Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations related to safety, health, and the environment.
Lead incident investigations and root cause analysis, and implement corrective actions.
Provide training and guidance to employees on SSHE practices and procedures.
Monitor and report on SSHE performance metrics and trends.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate SSHE considerations into business operations.
Manage and oversee emergency response plans and drills.
Stay current with industry best practices and regulatory changes.
Partner with TAs and CPs to reduce and mitigate risks, including explosive dust, , boilers and flammables.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor’s degree, in Engineering, Science, Environment or similar
Previous experience leading SHE agenda at complex sites, minimum of 7-10 years of experience in SHE management, with at least 3 years in a senior role.
Leading incident/accident investigations and lessons learned, closing audit gaps & findings in a timely manner
Leading Risk Assessments, Strong advocate of implementation of Engineering Controls
Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work collaboratively
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Familiar with OH&S Management systems eg: ISO14001 and OHSAS18001 certifications.
Strong analytical focus on reporting and governance
Certification in SHE management (e.g., CSP, CIH, NEBOSH) is preferred.
