Customer Service Representative

As a Customer Service Representative at PPG, you will play a vital role in supporting our ASC Aerospace customers by delivering exceptional service and ensuring timely, accurate order fulfillment. In this role, you will respond to urgent customer needs, manage account and order information, and collaborate cross-functionally to provide efficient solutions. You'll gain hands-on experience in aviation logistics, inventory management, contract administration, and customer support while contributing to the seamless operation within the aerospace supply chain.

Key Responsibilities

  • Enter, track, and manage aftermarket parts and service orders from suppliers to customers (airlines, MROs, brokers)

  • Maintain accurate records of spare parts in stock, monitor stock levels, and assist in restocking to meet demand

  • Respond to inquiries from airlines, MROs, and brokers regarding availability, pricing, and delivery timelines

  • Input order details into ERP or aftermarket management systems; generate reports for inventory status, order history, and delivery performance

  • Assist in identifying parts using technical manuals, schematics, and OEM data; update part records as needed

  • Work with procurement, logistics, and engineering teams to ensure timely delivery of parts and resolution of supply issues

  • Follow aerospace industry safety, quality, and regulatory standards for maintaining documentation

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required

  • 1+ years of experience in a customer service or customer support role

  • Understanding of aerospace financial processes, or related manufacturing environments preferred

The base salary range for this position is $52,000 to 57,000, with a possibility of an annual bonus up to 2.5% of base salary.
