At U.S. Bank, we’re on a journey to build a strong, scalable, and well-governed enterprise platform ecosystem. We are seeking a experience in Workday platform governance, Agile delivery, and SaaS operations, with expertise in release management, compliance, stakeholder engagement, platform performance, and enterprise governance frameworks

This role blends program leadership, platform governance, and stakeholder alignment, with a focus on enabling consistency, control, and enterprise-wide coordination across multiple teams and domains.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Lead and govern the overall Workday platform, including tenant strategy, environment management, platform roadmap planning, and release lifecycle oversight.

  • Define, establish, and enforce enterprise governance standards across security, reporting, platform operations, and environment management.

  • Drive platform governance across Workday capabilities such as Extend, Orchestrate, Prism, Security, and reporting frameworks.

  • Establish and monitor platform KPIs, including uptime, platform reliability, service performance, adoption metrics, and release cycle effectiveness.

  • Define and manage release governance processes, including Workday R1/R2 impact assessments, regression validation, production readiness reviews, and change governance.

  • Lead platform monitoring strategy using dashboards and analytics tools to ensure system health, operational stability, and data accuracy.

  • Own data governance practices, including tenant refresh controls, data masking, data quality standards, and secure handling of sensitive information.

  • Partner with cross-functional teams (HR, Finance, Procurement, Technology) to align platform capabilities with business objectives and strategic priorities.

  • Facilitate governance forums, intake processes, prioritization reviews, and decision-making frameworks across multiple stakeholder groups.

  • Champion Agile delivery practices and governance standards, ensuring effective planning, prioritization, risk management, and continuous improvement across platform initiatives.

  • Develop executive-level reporting and communicate platform health, risks, delivery progress, and roadmap priorities to senior leadership.

  • Ensure audit readiness through comprehensive documentation of changes, approvals, testing evidence, operational controls, and compliance artifacts.

  • Drive adoption of SaaS platform best practices, automation opportunities, and AI-enabled capabilities within governance frameworks.

  • Build strong relationships with stakeholders and act as a key liaison across product, engineering, business, and platform support teams.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent work experience

  • Three to five years of relevant experience

Preferred Skills / Experience:

  • Strong understanding of the System Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and enterprise governance processes.

  • Experience with document management, policy management, and governance practices.

  • Extensive experience in IT project and program management, governance frameworks, project planning, reporting, and operational oversight.

  • Demonstrated ability to manage large, complex, cross-functional initiatives across enterprise environments.

  • Strong stakeholder management, executive communication, and influencing skills.

  • Experience managing competing priorities and driving alignment across multiple teams.

Agile Preferred Skills

  • Experience working in Agile environments using Scrum, SAFe, Kanban, or hybrid delivery methodologies.

  • Strong understanding of Agile planning, backlog management, prioritization, sprint execution, dependency management, and continuous improvement practices.

  • Experience facilitating Agile ceremonies and driving delivery alignment across business and technology teams.

  • Ability to partner with Product Owners, platform teams, and business stakeholders to support strategic planning and execution.

  • Experience leading governance and operating model improvements within Agile organizations.

SaaS Preferred Skills

  • Experience supporting, governing, or managing enterprise SaaS platforms.

  • Understanding of SaaS platform lifecycle management, environment strategy, release management, security, compliance, and operational controls.
