About the Role:
The Solution Architect supporting the MSSP/MSP (Managed Security/Software Service Provider) Partners is a partner-focused technical expert who applies deep security expertise to support, enable, and grow CrowdStrike's Strategic Global MSSP/MSP Partner ecosystem. This role is critical to expanding CrowdStrike's footprint within the managed services market by landing new MSSP partnerships and accelerating growth within existing ones.
You will be expected to contribute to technical aspects of partner solutions and participate in strategic alliance-based initiatives and programs relating to technical architecture, solution delivery, partner execution, partner training, and enablement — while also working internally to represent the needs of the Solution Architecture & Alliances organization. The ideal candidate will bring a strong mix of deep technical knowledge and business acumen specifically within the managed security services marketplace.
What You'll Do:
Serve as the primary technical partner advocate for MSSP/MSP relationships — driving both the landing of net-new MSSP partnerships and the expansion of existing partner relationships through technical depth, enablement, and solution alignment
Identify and pursue opportunities to recruit new MSSPs into the CrowdStrike partner ecosystem by articulating the technical and business value of building managed service offerings on the Falcon platform
Work closely with MSSP Partners, their Solution Architects, and Sales Engineers to develop and operationalize CrowdStrike-powered managed service offerings, enabling partners to bring differentiated security services to market faster
Collaborate with MSSP partners to design scalable, multi-tenant architectures that align with their service delivery models, operational workflows, and go-to-market strategies
Apply CrowdStrike products and services to solve end-customer problems through our MSSP partners, ensuring partners can effectively position, demonstrate, and deliver CrowdStrike-based solutions
Support MSSP partners in building and refining their workflows, playbooks, and automation capabilities leveraging CrowdStrike's platform — including API integrations, data ingestion pipelines, AI, and SIEM/SOAR connectivity
Work with team leaders to deliver and execute technology strategies that meet strategic corporate and partner needs, both present and future, with a specific lens on MSSP scalability and service monetization
Develop and promote partner and client self-service solutions that reduce friction in onboarding, deployment, and ongoing management for MSSP customers
Develop comprehensive technical enablement plans tailored to MSSP operational teams — including SOC analysts, threat hunters, incident responders, agentic AI, and partner SEs — ensuring partners are fully equipped to sell, deliver, and support CrowdStrike solutions
Work with other Solution Architects to build out and grow SA process standards for MSSPs, GSIs, System Integrators, and other partner channels
Assist with partner demo environments and proof-of-concept engagements, ensuring MSSP partners have the necessary training, tooling, and technology to effectively demonstrate CrowdStrike capabilities to prospects and existing customers
Dive into complex technical challenges and drive sustainable solutions for partner growth — including installations, troubleshooting, integration support, and product training
Act as the interface between multiple internal CrowdStrike teams (Product, Engineering, Sales, Support, and Channel) to resolve partner issues and advocate for MSSP-specific platform needs and feature requirements
Provide regular reporting and feedback on partner field activities, pipeline influence, technical blockers, and enablement gaps to internal stakeholders
Participate in and represent CrowdStrike at events such as security conferences, MSSP-focused summits, lunch & learns, and partner-sponsored events
What You'll Need:
Significant technical capability and experience in modern security platforms, with a strong understanding of how MSSPs architect, deliver, and scale managed security services
Knowledge in one or more of the following areas: Cloud Security, Endpoint Defense, Agentic AI Deployments, Modern Malware Lifecycle, Threat Intelligence, Security Operations, Incident Response, Endpoint Management, Identity Protection, and Operating System Architecture
Experience in a security-focused Solution Architect, Sales Engineer, or similar pre-sales/technical role, ideally with direct exposure to MSSP or managed services environments
Demonstrated experience in landing and expanding technology partnerships, including recruiting new partners and growing revenue within existing partner relationships
Familiarity with MSSP business models, including multi-tenancy, white-labeling, service packaging, and consumption-based licensing structures
Prior experience with data consumption capabilities including APIs, scripting, and data exchange formats — with an understanding of how MSSPs leverage these for automation and integration
Business development experience in a consulting, services, or channel/partner environment
Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to present to a variety of external audiences, including senior executives at MSSP partner organizations and their end customers
Ability to travel both domestically and internationally up to 40%
Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
Proven experience utilizing AI technologies to enhance decision-making, streamline workflows and processes, improve efficiency and drive business outcomes.
Bonus Points:
Scripting experience in PowerShell, Bash, Python, and/or VBScript
Experience working with SIEM, SOAR, or XDR platforms in an MSSP context
Familiarity with multi-tenant security platform management and MSSP operational tooling
