Warranty Claims Representative I

Job Description:

Manage manual claims process for entry into warranty website. Process and maintain warranty paperwork to ensure proper documentation and criteria for claims.

Primary Duties:

  • Delivers a high level of customer service to exceed customer needs consistently.
  • Enters accurate, valid and complete information for warranty claims.
  • Works with customers and internal staff on RGA and RGA billing.
  • Ensures customer satisfaction and provide professional customer support.
  • Orders entry to provide support to other departments as needed.
  • Assists with any clerical duties.

Job Requirements

Education and Experience Requirements:

  • Requires a high school diploma or general education degree (GED);
  • Experience in customer service or a related field,
  • HVAC industry experience helpful.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Stay calm when customers are stressed or upset.
  • Enter orders to provide support to other departments as needed.
  • Process claims in high volume times.
  • Strong organizational skills.
  • Strong customer communication and customer service orientation
  • Ability to execute multiple tasks simultaneously under time pressure.
  • Ability to communicate effectively in writing and verbally

Essential and Physical Functions:

  • Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
  • Must be able to lift up to 10 pounds at times.
  • Some travel is expected.
