The Peel Compton Foundation is seeking a creative, high-energy Content Coordinator to join our dynamic Marketing Team. This fast-paced role is the perfect launchpad for an aspiring professional looking to jump-start their career within a meaningful, mission-driven organization. We offer a flexible / part-time schedule.

This role is a multifaceted Marketing & Creative Support position focused on content creation, digital asset management, and promotional execution. The ideal candidate will support the marketing team by designing digital and print assets, capturing and editing multimedia content, maintaining website and email touchpoints, and assisting with event promotion.

RESPONSIBILITIES
Design & Branding Support
  • Collateral Creation: Design engaging print and digital marketing materials, including social media graphics, flyers, signage, postcards, nametags, and brochures.
  • Social Media Asset Development: Create eye-catching posts that directly align with active marketing campaigns.
  • Asset Adaptation: Resize and adapt existing designs seamlessly for multiple platforms and formats.
  • Template Management: Update, maintain, and organize design templates within Canva.
  • Brand Alignment: Strict adherence to established brand guidelines, implementing feedback efficiently while maintaining visual standards.
Photo & Video Support
  • Content Capture: Assist in capturing high-quality photos and videos during live events and programs to enhance visual storytelling.
  • Editing & Enhancement: Edit and polish raw footage and images using basic editing software.
  • Digital Asset Management: Organize and archive visual content for streamlined future use in marketing and social media campaigns.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with the marketing team to integrate multimedia elements into promotional materials, emails, and social posts.
Website Content Support
  • Blog Management: Upload and format blog posts using established WordPress templates.
  • Site Updates: Post event listings and execute basic content updates across existing webpages.
  • SEO & Accessibility: Format headings, text, images, internal links, and alt text to meet accessibility and SEO standards.
  • Quality Assurance: Proofread content and conduct thorough quality checks prior to publishing.
  • Site Maintenance: Proactively identify and flag broken links, outdated content, and formatting issues for review.
Event & Program Promotion Support
  • Calendar Outreach: Submit upcoming events to community calendars and online listings.
  • Distribution Logistics: Assist with the preparation and physical/digital distribution of promotional assets.
  • Link Management: Generate and manage QR codes for marketing materials, ensuring flawless routing to relevant content.
  • Tracking & Reporting: Track the placement of promotional materials and outreach efforts, reporting back on campaign effectiveness.
  • On-Site Support: Provide on-site promotional assistance at community outreach events as needed.
Email Marketing Support (As Needed)
  • Campaign Building: Construct marketing emails utilizing pre-existing templates.
  • Responsive Formatting: Optimize text and imagery for seamless display across mobile and desktop devices.
  • Scheduling & QA: Schedule email deployments and perform final quality assurance checks to ensure error-free delivery.
QUALIFICATIONS
Required
  • Design Tools: Proficient experience using Canva.
  • Multimedia Production: Basic understanding of photo and video editing software (e.g., Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Premiere).
  • Camera Equipment: Familiarity with professional cameras, as well as basic photography and videography techniques.
  • CMS & Marketing Tools: Hands-on familiarity with WordPress and standard email marketing platforms.
  • Precision & Brand Standards: Exceptional attention to detail with the ability to follow strict brand guidelines.
  • Organization: Strong organizational skills and the capacity to balance multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Autonomy: Proven ability to work independently and efficiently within defined processes.

The Peel Compton Foundation owns and operates the Peel Museum & Botanical Garden, Compton Gardens & Arboretum, Coler Mountain Bike Preserve, and Osage Park. The uniting mission for these diverse properties is to connect the community through nature, education, recreation, and preservation. The Peel Compton Foundation is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization.
