Reporting to: CRO (dotted line to Product & Engineering). As Enterprise Architect, you act as a trusted advisor to enterprise customers during the sales and early adoption journey.You bridge:Business strategy and platform valueExecutive ambition and technical realityProof of Value and long-term enterprise architectureYour work ensures that Wandelbots is positioned as a foundational platform, not an isolated solution.WHAT YOU WILL DOBusiness-to-Platform TranslationTranslate customer business goals (cost, flexibility, resilience, growth) into platform value narratives, architecture principles, and adoption and expansion logicSupport Sales in executive-level value conversationsEnsure technical discussions always connect back to measurable business outcomesEnterprise Architecture DesignCo-create enterprise architectures with customers, spanning cloud, edge, and operational environmentsDesign target architectures for software-defined automation, Physical AI integration, and scalable, multi-site operationsAlign Wandelbots NOVA with enterprise IT standards, security and governance requirements, and cloud and shopfloor environmentsMaturity Assessment & Capability FrameworksDevelop and evolve technology-agnostic capability frameworksLead highly interactive maturity assessment workshops with business leaders, IT architects, and automation expertsIdentify gaps, constraints, and transformation levers across technology, organization, governance, skills, and operating modelTransformation Roadmaps & Value RealizationDesign enterprise transformation roadmaps with a phased adoption approach, risk mitigation strategy, and value realization planEnsure roadmaps are realistic, scalable, and anchored in customer P&L logicExpansion & Business Development SupportIdentify expansion opportunities across use cases, sites, and regionsSupport Sales and Partner teams in building expansion narratives, developing business cases, and structuring long-term framework agreementsAct as architectural continuity across the customer lifecycleYour profileExperience & BackgroundStrong experience as Enterprise Architect, Solution / Platform Architect, or IT Transformation Architect Proven track record delivering large-scale ERP, cloud, or platform transformation programs at enterprise level (e.g. SAP S/4HANA, Azure, AWS, ServiceNow, Salesforce or similar)Experience in customer-facing pre-sales or advisory roles: workshops, business cases, architecture reviews with C-level stakeholdersBackground in or significant exposure to manufacturing, industrial, or logistics enterprise environments — you understand how business and IT connect at scale in complex operationsFamiliarity with platform and ecosystem-based models, cloud-native architectures, and enterprise governanceIdeally based in: Rhine-Main, Munich, Stuttgart, Düsseldorf, or Cologne/BonnNice to haveExposure to OT environments, shopfloor realities, or industrial automation — from the IT or consulting sideExperience with EA frameworks and tooling (TOGAF, ArchiMate, LeanIX)Background working at or with a technology scale-up or product companySkills & StrengthsAbility to operate credibly with board-level stakeholders, CIO / CDO /...
