The Team Manager will be expected to delegate responsibilities that lend to the career growth of the team. Additionally, the Team Manager will oversee team members and assure they meet targets for daily, weekly, monthly, and annual performance metrics; work with line of business management in coordinating team meetings, compliance training and preparation of performance reviews.Role Responsibilities:Must be able to remain calm, professional and in control in a volatile business environmentSet and manage team standards around attendance, performance metrics, and service qualityMust be focused on bottom line performance and constantly looking at ways to improve overall performance, sales, customer satisfaction and the entire customer experienceAbility to set and achieve stretch team goalsCan identify, recruit, develop and retain key talentSeek opportunities to grow business and drive sales by capitalizing on firm initiativesEnsure retention of participants through concierge-type comprehensive supportMust be dedicated to exceeding the expectations and must have outstanding oral communication, inter-personal and written communication skills. This will be necessary to provide a superior level of service, satisfaction, and to successfully close salesUtilize independent decision-making skills to handle and resolve issuesAbility to work independentlyComputer literacy including familiarity with online services, PC skills, and technical resolution Ability to troubleshoot basic to advanced technical problemsExcellent organizational skills, with the ability to handle multiple tasksMinimum Qualifications:Registrations: SIE, Series 7, Series 63 OR 66, Series 9/10 or 4/24/53 and ability to obtain Mass Registration & Trader Certification.Minimum Years of Industry Experience: 5+ yearsPreferred Skills:Bachelor’s Degree PreferredProven ability to develop and execute a comprehensive business plan focused on growth, retention, and driving revenueDetailed understanding of the securities industry including equity compensation, trading (equity/derivatives), Mutual Funds/ETF’s, Bonds, wrap products, lendingAbility to attract & nurture talented individuals into a successful Sales & Support teamProven ability to resolve complex B2B challengesProven track record of coaching team membersAbility to create a team culture which drives urgency and a proactive approach to meeting client financial requirementsEvidence of strong leadership capabilities and previous supervisory experienceWHAT YOU CAN EXPECT FROM MORGAN STANLEY: At Morgan Stanley, we raise, manage and allocate capital for our clients – helping them reach their goals.
