We compare with the best version of ourselvesWhat is the role?As a skilled and motivated Flight Operations Engineer you will become an integral part of our Satellite Operations team. In this pivotal role, you will take ownership of the day-to-day flight operations of our spacecraft and contribute directly to mission success and reliability - combining hands-on operational duties with the engineering judgment needed to keep our fleet healthy on orbit.This role is based in Denver, Colorado, where we are building a high-performing and fast-paced team. The position will be on-site and in person at the office, with occasional travel to our headquarters in Europe.Some of your daily tasks will include:Monitor and analyze spacecraft telemetry, and investigate off-nominal behaviorIdentify, assess, and mitigate operational risksPlan and execute payload commissioning based on operational documentationDevelop, validate, and maintain flight procedures and automation scripts for different operational flowsCoordinate operational activities (passes, contacts, campaigns) and maintain accurate activity logs during daily operationsSupport anomaly investigation and resolution, and contribute to continuous improvement of operational processesWhat do we look for? Degree in a technical field (aerospace, electronics, software, or similar)Experience in time-critical operations (spacecraft operations, air traffic control, or similar)Good knowledge of at least one scripting language (Python, MATLAB, or similar)Outstanding attention to detailGood command of technical documentation, including the ability to author and refine operational proceduresKnowledge and experience in electronics testing, C/C++ or Python, and data analysis are considered advantageousWillingness to travel to Europe occasionally.Based in the Denver area, or willing to relocate.Why EnduroSat? Fast-paced and delivery-focused cultureWe work with well-defined quarterly based objectives, that allow us to fast-track the progression of our work and improve as we goTough engineering challenges & hard-core R&DYou will be able to work on unique space technology and build next-gen innovations, while mentored by world-recognized space expertsConstant learning and progressionOwn your personal growth by navigating through our career progression framework and educational programsChance to join our space educational programMeet international space experts and improve your knowledge and skillset with our hands-on educational programWhat do we offer?Health insurance coverageMatching 401k planGenerous team performance-based bonusCollaboration with EnduroSat offices in EuropeSalary range: $80,000 – $130,000 per year.
