Founded in 2015, the company serves a collection of seven world-class owned venues and a client roster of the most iconic arenas, stadiums, convention centers, music festivals, performing arts centers, and cultural institutions, spanning four continents.  Position Summary The Lead Catering Captain provides support and assistance with Catering activities as well as providing assistance to the Catering Managers in the profitable management of catering operations, as needed. The Catering Supervisor will actively and independently manage all aspects of employee relations to ensure a positive, harmonious, compliant, and cooperative work environment. The Catering Supervisor will provide oversight and resolution responsibilities for employee performance issues. The Catering Supervisor must provide a high level of event oversight, technical proficiency, and operational/personnel support to ensure the smooth running of any assigned event. A critical function of the Catering Supervisor will be to actively mentor, train, and help employees meet company quality standards. The employee must maintain excellent attendance and be available to work a variable event-driven schedule, which includes evenings and weekends. Responsibilities Reviews Banquet Event Orders (BEOs) to ensure that all details, such as food and beverage, seating, special requests, etc., are met.Conduct pre-banquet meetings with staff to ensure appearance, uniform, and hygiene standards are being met; assign stations and partners; and review banquet event orders.Checks room set-up prior to event and meets with Chefs to confirm quantities of food items and timing of food leaving the kitchen.Ensure proper handling of all equipment (i.e., tableware, flatware, and linen) and its proper storage after use.Regularly reviews the catering schedule for changes, the calendar of events, and special events.Handle client complaints and issues promptly, working with the event planning team to resolve any...
