Accountabilities:
- Lead enterprise-wide revenue cycle transformation programs, aligning project objectives with organizational and financial goals across front-end, mid-cycle, and back-end operations.
- Apply structured project management methodologies to oversee scope, timelines, budgets, risks, quality, governance, and successful delivery of complex multi-workstream initiatives.
- Develop strategic roadmaps, establish governance frameworks, and facilitate executive steering committees while ensuring effective decision-making and stakeholder alignment.
- Serve as the primary advisor to executive leadership on revenue cycle performance, transformation priorities, resource planning, and program execution.
- Direct cross-functional collaboration between operational, clinical, IT, and leadership teams to resolve issues, manage competing priorities, and maintain project momentum.
- Oversee Epic Hospital Billing (HB) and Professional Billing (PB) implementations, upgrades, workflow redesigns, and optimization initiatives that support strategic revenue cycle objectives.
- Monitor key revenue cycle performance indicators, including DNFB, clean claim rates, denial rates, accounts receivable days, and revenue leakage, implementing corrective strategies to improve outcomes.
- Ensure all initiatives comply with healthcare regulations, payer requirements, and industry best practices while mentoring project teams and promoting continuous improvement.
- Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration, Business, or a related field.
- Minimum of 8 years of healthcare revenue cycle experience covering front-end, mid-cycle, and back-end operations, including leadership of large-scale projects or programs.
- PMP certification or an equivalent advanced project or program management credential is required.
- Hands-on experience with Epic Hospital Billing (HB) and Professional Billing (PB) modules is required.
- Demonstrated success leading complex healthcare, revenue cycle, or IT transformation initiatives with executive-level visibility.
- Strong understanding of revenue cycle workflows, KPIs, regulatory requirements, payer guidelines, and industry best practices.
- Proven executive presence with the ability to influence senior stakeholders, manage organizational change, and provide strategic guidance.
- Experience leading cross-functional teams, mentoring project managers, and establishing governance frameworks for enterprise initiatives.
- Epic certifications in HB, PB, or related modules are preferred.
- Knowledge of CPT, ICD-10 coding, and payer regulations is considered an asset.
- Competitive contract compensation of $90.00 per hour.
- Initial 6+ month W2 contract with the opportunity to contribute to enterprise-level transformation programs.
