About the Role

Carrier is seeking a SEA Operations Excellence Leader to drive continuous improvement and lean transformation across multiple manufacturing sites in the Asia and Middle East region.

Based in Thailand, this role will lead the deployment of the Carrier Excellence Operating System, driving process maturity, operational performance, and a strong culture of continuous improvement across the full value stream.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead Carrier Excellence (Cx) deployment across regional plants, driving operational performance and process maturity

  • Coach and partner with plant leadership teams to translate business goals into continuous improvement (CI) initiatives

  • Develop and drive Lean Transformation Plans (LTP) across short-, mid-, and long-term horizons

  • Facilitate kaizen workshops, improvement projects, and value stream optimization (labor, material, logistics productivity)

  • Deliver lean training and capability building, including coaching Cx champions and influencers

  • Conduct lean maturity assessments, process evaluations, and risk assessments

  • Drive best practice sharing and cross-site collaboration across the region

  • Support plant performance through dashboard tracking, analytics, and system thinking

  • Promote a strong lean culture and Carrier values across all sites

  • Identify and evaluate process automation opportunities aligned with transformation goals

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Industrial Engineering, Operations Management, or related field

  • Minimum 8+ years of experience in lean, continuous improvement, or operational excellence

  • Proven experience deploying lean / operating systems in multinational manufacturing environments

  • Strong knowledge of lean tools, systems, and process improvement methodologies

  • Experience in process maturity assessment and transformation programs

  • Strong stakeholder management with ability to drive cross-functional and regional alignment

  • Excellent analytical thinking and end-to-end problem-solving capability

  • Strong facilitation skills in training, workshops, and kaizen events

  • Good command of English communication

  • Willingness to travel 25–50% across the region
