Accountabilities:

    • Own a defined portion of technical delivery by designing solutions, making architecture decisions, and ensuring the quality of engineering outcomes within your workstream.
    • Architect and implement modernization strategies for legacy systems, including decomposing monolithic applications, developing APIs, migrating data, and maintaining reliable production environments.
    • Build full-stack, production-grade applications across frontend interfaces, backend services, APIs, integrations, and complex enterprise systems.
    • Write, review, and improve code across multiple programming languages and technical approaches while establishing strong engineering standards.
    • Design scalable cloud-native architectures, including event-driven systems, microservices, and solutions that can be maintained by future engineering teams.
    • Integrate AI capabilities into enterprise applications through intelligent automation, LLM-powered workflows, retrieval-augmented generation (RAG), and agent-based solutions.
    • Implement CI/CD pipelines, delivery automation, and engineering practices that enable reliable and frequent software releases.
    • Identify technical risks early, communicate challenges clearly, and escalate broader architectural decisions when needed.
    • Create prototypes and proofs of concept to validate ideas, explore new approaches, and accelerate innovation.
    • Lead and mentor a small team of engineers through task planning, code reviews, technical guidance, and knowledge sharing.
    • Serve as a technical point of contact for client stakeholders, providing visibility into progress, challenges, decisions, and delivery outcomes.
    • Support business development activities and contribute technical expertise to client opportunities.
    • Requirements:

      • 7+ years of hands-on software engineering experience with demonstrated technical leadership experience.
      • Strong experience building and delivering full-stack applications, including both new development and legacy application modernization.
      • Deep expertise in at least one area of the technology stack with the ability to collaborate effectively across frontend, backend, cloud, and infrastructure layers.
      • Experience designing production systems, making architecture decisions, documenting tradeoffs, and taking ownership of technical outcomes.
      • Proven experience working with enterprise environments, distributed systems, complex architectures, and multi-cloud platforms.
      • Strong programming skills across multiple languages and paradigms, with the ability to write clean, scalable, and maintainable code.
      • Experience with cloud-native architectures, CI/CD automation, branching strategies, infrastructure concepts, and production operations.
      • Familiarity with Kubernetes, managed container platforms, infrastructure as code, observability, and modern platform engineering practices.
      • Experience delivering AI-powered features in production environments, including LLM integrations, RAG pipelines, or agentic workflows.
      • Regular use of AI development tools such as Claude, Cursor, Windsurf, or similar solutions to improve engineering productivity and quality.
      • Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate with clients, engineers, architects, and business stakeholders.
      • Ability to mentor engineers, provide constructive feedback, and raise the technical capabilities of a team.
      • Must be authorized to work in the United States or Canada without sponsorship.
      • Ability to travel approximately 25–50% depending on client needs.
