About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated Senior Data Analytics Analyst to join our Data QA team. This role is responsible for ensuring the quality, accuracy, integrity, and reliability of enterprise data solutions through comprehensive testing, validation, and quality assurance processes. The successful candidate will lead Data QA activities across multiple projects, collaborate with business and technical stakeholders, and play a critical role in delivering high-quality data products, reports, dashboards, and analytics solutions.The ideal candidate combines strong analytical and testing skills with expertise in data validation, SQL, requirements analysis, and defect management. They will serve as a subject matter expert for Data Quality Assurance, helping establish testing standards, drive process improvements, and mentor junior team members.

Major Responsibilities

• Analyze business, functional, software, and data requirements to ensure completeness, clarity, and testability.
• Develop, review, and maintain detailed test plans, test cases, test scripts, and test documentation.
• Perform manual and automated testing for data pipelines, databases, reporting solutions, dashboards, and analytics products.
• Validate data accuracy, completeness, consistency, integrity, and reconciliation across multiple systems and data sources.
• Identify, document, track, prioritize, and communicate defects while coordinating resolution efforts with development and data engineering teams.
• Execute regression testing, system integration testing (SIT), user acceptance testing (UAT), and end-to-end testing activities.
• Prepare and present testing results, quality metrics, risk assessments, and recommendations to project stakeholders.
• Lead and coordinate Data QA deliverables across multiple projects and initiatives.
• Partner with business users, analytics teams, data engineers, and technology teams to ensure successful implementation of data solutions.
• Establish, maintain, and promote QA standards, testing methodologies, and best practices across the organization.
• Support workload prioritization and resource coordination within the Data QA function.
• Act as the primary point of contact for Data QA risks, issues, escalations, and quality-related discussions.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance testing efficiency, effectiveness, and overall data quality.
• Support data governance, audit, compliance, and regulatory requirements as needed.
• Mentor and provide guidance to junior QA and analytics team members.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Analytics, Statistics, Engineering, Business, or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience in software testing, data quality assurance, data validation, or analytics testing roles.
• Experience working with Amazon S3 and cloud-based data platforms.
• Strong understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC), testing methodologies, and defect management processes.
• Experience testing data warehouses, databases, ETL/ELT processes, reporting platforms, and analytics solutions.
• Experience creating and executing test plans, test cases, and test scripts.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with excellent attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliverables in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Proven ability to collaborate effectively across cross-functional teams and stakeholders.

Good to Have

• Knowledge of US Healthcare data, processes, and reporting requirements.
• Understanding of HIPAA regulations and healthcare compliance standards.
• Experience with data governance and audit support activities.
• Exposure to automated testing frameworks and tools.
• Experience mentoring junior analysts
