Base pay range $67,995.00/yr - $103,002.00/yr Meta is seeking a Critical Facility Engineer to join our Data Center Facility Operations team. Our data centers form the backbone of Meta's global infrastructure, supporting the systems and services that connect billions of people worldwide. In this role, you will be responsible for the hands-on operation and maintenance of critical mechanical, electrical, and controls systems that keep our data centers running safely and reliably around the clock.Critical Facility Engineer Responsibilities:Perform hands-on operations and maintenance which includes all physical and administrative operations tasks, service, and maintenance in accordance with site processes and procedures to ensure high levels of uptime, efficiency, and safety without disruption to the businessComplete work order requests accurately and on time in an enterprise asset management (EAM) system (Hexagon)Achieve and maintain a high-level of technical knowledge regarding data center infrastructure and operations. Successfully complete personnel qualification standards (PQS) trainingProvide technical expertise and assistance as requiredRespond quickly, using Meta procedures or emergency operating procedures to data center facility emergenciesRegularly inspect equipment, buildings, safety routes and grounds to check or identify any abnormal or unsafe conditions or faultsTroubleshoot, evaluate and recommend system upgradesOrder parts and supplies for maintenance and repairsWork with vendors and contractors to ensure work is in accordance with the agreed Meta processes, procedures, and standardsEscalate issues to facility management appropriately and...
