About the Role

The Senior Product Manager is responsible for the request, collection, analysis, and distribution of IRS transcripts and transcript summaries. This role leads the development and maintenance of transcript request workflows, supporting both in-person and virtual experiences. Working across multiple teams, the Senior Product Manager ensures products and processes align with business objectives, customer needs, and operational goals.

  • Define and maintain the product vision, strategy, and roadmap for transcript-related products and workflows
  • Ensure product priorities align with business objectives and customer needs
  • Identify customer needs through research, feedback, and market analysis
  • Translate customer and business insights into clear product requirements
  • Lead products through the full lifecycle, from concept and development through launch, enhancement, and ongoing maintenance
  • Partner closely with engineering, design, and other cross-functional teams to support successful product execution
  • Collaborate with stakeholders across the organization to drive alignment on product strategy and priorities
  • Prioritize product initiatives, features, and enhancements to maximize business value and customer impact
  • Analyze product performance, key metrics, and customer feedback to identify opportunities for improvement
  • Use data and insights to inform product decisions and drive continuous improvement
  • Communicate product strategy, progress, and priorities to stakeholders
  • Manage stakeholder expectations and build alignment throughout the product development process

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field or the equivalent through a combination of education and related work experience
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strategic thinking and vision
  • Technical proficiency and understanding
  • Business acumen and understanding of market trends
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks
  • Leadership and influence skills, particularly among cross-functional teams
  • Empathy and customer focus 

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master of Business Administration or Finance
  • PMP certification, or equivalent, or completed work towards PMP certification, or equivalent
