As a Material Handler you will be responsible of performing tasks related to inventory accuracy and documentation in all aviation warehouses, depending on the assigned area. Maintains working relationships with Production Control, Production Planning, Cost Accounting, Engineering, Information Systems, internal and external customers, and supervisors.

This position is based at our Santa Isabel, PR location. You must be residing in Puerto Rico at the time of starting employment. Relocation is not offered.

What You Will Do

  • Refer internal orders to Information Systems.

  • Update inventory documentation and maintains backup files as evidence of inventory activity.

  • Coordinate inventory and Cost Accounting requirements with the regular inventory schedule.

  • Minimize SAP inventory errors to ensure accurate payments and adjustments.

  • Create and maintain departmental files and inventory documentation.

  • Monitor inventory activity to ensure proper and timely completion.

  • Keep inventory information aligned across different systems.

  • Maintain knowledge of company systems to perform backups, audit trails, and file reorganizations per procedures.

  • Verify production assemblies and returns to inventory.

  • Perform audits and inventoryrelated activities to maintain accurate balances.

  • Understand Inventory Control Clerk duties and trains new employees.

  • Verify manufacturing work orders and communicates discrepancies to Engineering.

  • Investigate and correct inventory errors in manufacturing orders as needed.

  • Verify inventory availability for operations.

  • Perform cycle counts and document available and issued materials.

  • Locate missing parts in work areas.

  • Verify parts are delivered to correct locations according to BOMs.

  • Support Engineering with timereduction projects.

  • Receive kit orders for operators and verify SAP material availability.

  • Ensure materials are issued correctly in the system.

  • Prepare, dispatch, label, and organize kits for operators.

  • Maintain kit inventory up to date and reconciled.

  • Deliver boards and materials to production areas as needed.

  • Follow all company policies, maintain good attendance, and produce required quality work.

  • Follow safety rules, keeps work areas organized, and completes required EH&S trainings.

  • Support and recommend improvements to EH&S goals and procedures.

  • Perform other assigned duties.

  • An essential function of this role is the ability to accurately see, read, and interpret information on screens and materials for extended periods. You will be required to successfully complete a post offer vision examination.

Qualifications You Must Have

  • Typically requires HS diploma (or equivalent, e.g. G.E.D. in the US) or vocational/technical education in related discipline with a minimum of 1 year of relevant experience

  • Demonstrated professional or educational experience communicating in English (verbal and written)

  • U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract
