We are seeking energetic and friendly individuals with excellent customer service skills and prior experience in Bar Service, who are eager to grow with us and commit to a long-term position on our team.
Responsibilities:
Delight our guests: Bring an upbeat and friendly attitude to all guest interactions and proactively look for ways to make their experience special
Prepare and serve beverages: Mix, garnish, and serve drinks according to recipe standards, ensuring accuracy and satisfaction
Maintain bar operations: Stock and organize bar supplies, including beverages, glassware, and perishables, for seamless service
Process payments efficiently and accurately: Use the point-of-sale system to correctly process room charges, credit/debit cards, apply discounts as per company policy
Monitor product quality: Manage inventory and ensure the freshness and quality of all beverage-related items
Address guest concerns professionally: Manage situations involving intoxicated guests with care and respect, ensuring a safe environment
Comply with regulatory standards: Maintain compliance with health, safety, sanitation, and RSA regulations, ensuring the highest standards of guest and team member well-being.
Collaborate with other departments: Assist with other duties assigned by the manager and assist with business needs as required
Requirements:
RSA certificate
Ability to work well under pressure and handle difficult customers or situations
Knowledge of cocktail and local wines, advantageous
Positive attitude and excellent customer service skills
Ability to multi-task and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Ability to work autonomously
Provide support in other sections of the food and beverage department as needed, including working in the restaurant and events as required
Flexible approach to hours: Available to work evenings, weekends, and holidays and occasional breakfast shift if required.
