Picture yourself brightening someone’s day. When you join our Hotels team, that’s exactly what you’ll do every time you come to work! You will assist in organizing and facilitating a variety of recreational activities for hotel guests, ensuring they have a fun and enjoyable stay. From fitness classes and poolside activities to sports and children’s programs, you will be actively involved in delivering recreational programs that cater to guests of all ages and interests. As a Recreation Attendant, you’re not just providing engaging recreational activities – you’re spreading the light and warmth of hospitality by delivering memorable experiences that make the stay for every guest.
Here’s what you’ll do during a typical day:
- Guest Engagement & Activity Facilitation: Lead fitness classes, sports games, and children’s programs; actively engage guests to enhance their experience.
- Safety & Cleanliness: Monitor recreational areas for safety and cleanliness; report equipment or facility issues promptly.
- Customer Service: Provide professional and friendly service; respond to guest inquiries and promote recreational offerings.
- Team Collaboration: Coordinate with other departments to support events and activities; assist with setup and breakdown.
- Program Support: Contribute ideas to improve recreational programs and promote wellness initiatives.
- Problem Solving: Address guest concerns promptly and professionally to ensure satisfaction.
- Compliance: Follow all health and safety regulations and hotel standards.

In addition, this role requires the following minimum qualifications:
- Previous experience in recreation, hospitality, or customer service preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to lead and participate in fitness and recreational activities
- CPR and First Aid certification preferred
- Proficiency in English; additional languages are a plus
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
