Texas Instruments is seeking a full-time Product Marketing Engineer in Dallas, Texas. The Product Marketing Engineer (PME) will develop comprehensive product marketing strategies for wireless connectivity solutions, ensuring alignment with Texas Instruments' (TI) overall product line strategy and market trends.

Responsibilities include:

  • Create warboards (strategic planning tools) for New Product Growth Initiatives (NPGI) and End Equipment Growth Initiatives (EEGI), collaborating with field sales and Systems Engineering & Marketing (SEM) teams to develop targeted attack plans.
  • Create unique, customer-focused value proposition messaging for the assigned portfolio.
  • Contribute to the Accelerated Product Launch (APL) strategy within the team, ensuring that complete product solutions reach customers ahead of Release to Market (RTM), including necessary software stacks, development tools, and reference designs.
  • Create and optimize technical content for TI, ensuring it addresses specific challenges faced by engineers implementing wireless connectivity solutions, such as electromagnetic interference (EMI) mitigation and reliability in harsh environments.
  • Perform competitive analysis, gathering intelligence on rival wireless solutions to inform product development, pricing strategies, and marketing positioning.
  • Orchestrate partnerships to engage lead customers for target, underpenetrated EEs, connecting these actions with warboard strategies to drive adoption of TI's wireless solutions.
  • Work within the opportunity funnel management process, tracking progress towards converting targeted customers and leveraging the APL and company website to accelerate progress towards achieving the "trifecta" (design win, production ramp, and revenue generation).
  • Create pricing strategies in collaboration with the pricing team and Product Line Managers (PLMs), ensuring competitive positioning while maintaining profitability.
  • Utilize and develop use cases and success stories, using these to scale adoption across top accounts and increase identification rates.
  • Work on continuously improving the product portfolio and technical content based on customer feedback, competitive analysis, and identified market gaps, feeding this information into the Creative Backlog (CBL) development process.

Minimum requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree (or foreign equivalent) in Electrical Engineering or a related field, and 3 years of experience as an engineer working on automotive applications. 3 years of experience to include hardware components including wireless RF technology & microcontrollers; security concepts including cryptographic technologies; software technology including operating systems, software stacks, & interface-to-smart-phone systems.
