The Senior Analyst, Procurement will support Collins Aerospace by helping secure the materials, services, and supplier support needed to keep technical programs moving from development through delivery. This role sits within the Supply Chain organization and partners closely with suppliers, internal stakeholders, and Engineering to support sourcing activity for both established product needs and new parts tied to R&D efforts. The position plays an important role in ensuring the right materials are available at the right time, at the right cost, and aligned to quality and contract expectations.
 

In this role, you will manage core procurement activities including purchase orders, supplier follow-up, RFP and bid package preparation, negotiation support, cost analysis, and contract performance monitoring. You will also help resolve delivery challenges, shortages, order changes, and supplier issues that can affect customer commitments. This is a strong opportunity for a procurement professional who enjoys solving problems, working across technical and supply chain teams, and contributing to the execution of aerospace and defense programs where supplier performance directly impacts business success.

This is an onsite role in our Anaheim, CA location.

What You Will Do:

  • Carry out procurement processes, standards, and operational plans in support of assigned supplier, commodity, or product family needs
  • Prepare and manage purchase orders for goods, materials, supplies, and services to support manufacturing, distribution, and development activities
  • Support RFPs, bid packages, negotiation preparation, and cost analysis to help ensure procurement decisions align with business needs
  • Work with Engineering to research and procure new parts in support of R&D efforts
  • Monitor supplier performance to help ensure products and services are delivered on time, meet quality standards, and align with cost expectations
  • Communicate with suppliers to schedule or expedite deliveries and resolve issues related to shortages, missed deliveries, or late shipments
  • Respond to inquiries regarding order status, changes, or cancellations to support customer satisfaction and internal business needs
  • Compile price proposals, financial reports, and related data to provide input on reasonable pricing and supplier decisions
  • Monitor contract performance to help ensure suppliers meet contractual obligations
  • Approve payments and support pricing discussions under general guidance to help keep procurement activity moving smoothly


Qualifications You Must Have:

  • Typically requires a University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 2 years of prior relevant experience
  • Experience supporting customer-facing supply chain activities, such as communicating order updates, helping resolve supply-related issues, and coordinating with internal or external stakeholders

  • Previous customer service experience in a supply chain, procurement, manufacturing, or related business environment
  • Experience using Epicor or a similar enterprise resource planning system

The salary range for this role is 75,800 USD - 144,200 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
