Management and Program Analyst

This position is a Management and Program Analyst, GS- 0343-13 working in Boulder City, Nevada for the Lake Mead National Recreation Area. The primary purpose of this position is to perform highly complicated management and program analysis in which the analysis directly influences the focus and/or direction of NPS programs or policies. Some of the major duties you will perform include but are not limited to the following: Designs and conducts comprehensive management studies of internal administrative operations, organizations, and/or management activities which directly influence the focus and/or direction of NPS programs or policies. Analyzes and evaluates management policies, procedures, guidelines, and processes in which the proposals and recommendations developed by the incumbent involve substantial resources, require extensive changes in established procedures, or may be in conflict with the current desires of management. Prepares detailed action plans and schedules for long- and short-range project accomplishment in which the projects require the incumbent to negotiate effectively with management to accept and implement recommendations. Performs quantitative or qualitative program analysis that directly influences the focus and/or direction of NPS programs or policies.
