Software EngineerA leading aerospace and defense company is looking for a Software Engineer II with Naval Power Test Equipment - Tucson, AZ - 2nd shift. This role focuses on the design, development, and integration of software solutions to support production lines for advanced weapon systems. The selected candidate will work within the Test Solutions Center to maintain high-performance engineering systems in a factory environment.What you'll be doing• Develop applications, libraries, and instrument drivers using specified environments• Prioritize and handle several engineering tasks concurrently within a factory setting• Interact with multi-discipline teams to support weapon system product development• Design and implement system-level applications for production and maintenance• Support the engineering lifecycle including design verification and production testsWhat we're looking for• Proficiency in software development for Windows-based applications and systems• Experience with software integration and hardware-to-software interfacing• Ability to work the 2nd shift schedule (typically 4pm to 4am, Monday to Friday)• Eligibility to obtain and maintain a required security clearance for this role• This position requires access to export-controlled information under applicable...
