Requirements
Principal Accountabilities:
· Implements the VE Retail Strategy (network plan, marketing plan, operational excellence, key strategic directions, etc.).
· Delivers on volume (fuel and lubes CR, etc.) and financial targets as set
· Implement the strategic supports required to deliver these targets (marketing plans, network plan, automation, etc.).
· Manages the Opex budget and ensures strict control on costs and manages the CAPEX spend within the ceiling and spend profile.
· Involves the team in the strategy, and engages them in achieving the objectives with effective implementation. Supervises the Retailer management process.
· Manages and coaches the Retail Leadership team and ensures that he/she is controlling the business and monitoring the achievement of objectives.
· Ensures that all the support required to achieve targets is provided. Follows up on the skill and competence development plan of the team, and manages their performance.
· Supports the Managing Director in stakeholder management activities.
· Manages all types of agreements, the credit process, and ensures HSSE standards compliance.
· Proactively manages dealer relations in a way ensuring prompt resolution of operational issues.
· Communicates the VE vision, strategy, and new initiatives with Retailers.
· Ensures full compliance with the Group Standards, including the global credit policy and the MOA, and proactively addresses issues.
· Plays a major role in negotiating contracts for NTI’s in line with the VE Retail strategy.
Key Challenges:
· The job involves working across geographies to manage the Retail sites in his/her Region to achieve market and financial results agreed in the plan, by growing the business and improving operational excellence, and customer service standards.
· Support the implementation of the agreed VE Retail Strategy within his/her Country at all levels (Network, Marketing Ops, etc.) in a way that maximizes profitability and improves control of the business.
· Monitor and develop the competency of the Country Retail Team in general and the Sales team in particular.
· Ensure cost efficiency.
