An overview of this role

As a Revenue Technology Analyst on GitLab's Revenue Technology team, you'll help support and maintain the tech stack that powers our go-to-market teams. As our Revenue organization continues to grow, you'll help execute the workflows, standards, and ways of working that make it easier for teams to do their best work. You'll partner with Revenue Operations, Pre- and Post-Sales Strategy, Enablement, IT, and beyond to help identify process gaps, support integrations and automations, and translate business needs into technical solutions.

You'll also help build and maintain a strong documentation and knowledge repository so our processes, support paths, and tooling standards are easy to understand and use in our all-remote, values-driven environment. This role works with tools such as Gong, Clari, Outreach, ZoomInfo, Salesforce, and adjacent revenue tools, under the direction of senior team members. This team doesn't own Salesforce.

What you’ll do

  • Support execution of the technical roadmap for the revenue lifecycle across a 10+ tool tech stack
  • Support and maintain a consistent business rhythm for end users, including provisioning, user support, troubleshooting, and ongoing maintenance.
  • Support stakeholder requests and communication across the revenue technology stack.
  • Help identify gaps in processes, integrations, and automations, then recommend improvements and assist with implementation and expansion of our tech stack, including driving the evaluation of new solutions as needed.
  • Support day-to-day vendor coordination for revenue technology stack tools, including procurement support, renewals, and quarterly business reviews in partnership with IT, Privacy, Legal, and Finance.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams, including Marketing Operations, IT, Enablement, Privacy and Legal, Revenue Strategy, Sales Strategy, and Sales Data Analytics, to support effective tool implementation, adoption, and aligned reporting definitions.
  • Partner with Revenue Operations & Strategy to build and maintain reporting and dashboards within revenue tools that improve efficiency, effectiveness, and productivity.
  • Document workflows, support processes, and troubleshooting guidance to enable first-tier sales support and self-service in an all-remote environment.
  • Leverage our internal AI solutions to automate and streamline processes both internal to the RevTech team and across GTM workflows.

What you’ll bring

  • Experience in Sales Operations, Revenue Operations, Customer Success Operations, system administration, or analytics roles supporting go-to-market teams.
  • Hands-on experience with at least two revenue or sales tools such as Gong, Clari, Outreach, Groove, ZoomInfo, Gainsight, Kantata, or similar tools.
  • Understanding of how systems connect and share data, including integrations, automations, permissions, and data management concepts.
  • Experience leveraging AI in your day-to-day workflows, ideally building agents and artifacts that have proven to accelerate productivity.
  • Exposure to supporting workflows, tooling changes, vendor processes, tool evaluations, rollouts, requirements gathering, implementation planning, or enablement.
  • Ability to identify gaps in workflows, processes, and tooling, and turn them into practical improvements.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, including building or partnering on reporting and dashboards that improve efficiency, effectiveness, and productivity for revenue teams.
  • Clear, inclusive communication skills, with the ability to collaborate across Sales, Customer Success, Professional Services, Revenue Operations, IT, Enablement, Strategy, and Legal or Privacy partners.
  • Comfort working in an all-remote, asynchronous environment, with the ability to prioritize effectively and communicate proactively with your team.
  • Interest in GitLab and alignment with our values, with openness to applying transferable skills from related roles. Exposure to AI or automation tools such as Workato, Zapier, or large language model-powered workflows, familiarity with business-to-business SaaS go-to-market motions, and data skills such as Salesforce reporting, business intelligence, SQL, or Python are helpful but not required.
