Civil & Industrial Engineer Expert

The Opportunity:

With all the information available today, it takes a skilled intelligence professional to know how to find and interpret the best data to give their clients the right answers. With the critical decisions made in our military every day, we need a civil and industrial engineer like you to do just that. As a civil and industrial engineering analyst, you use your specialized scientific and engineering experience and attention to detail to support the development of all-source intelligence reports to give your client the actionable intelligence and context they need. If you have strong analytical skills and a problem-solving mindset, we have an opportunity to use those skills to support our warfighters and protect our national security

As a civil and industrial engineer on our team, you'll support defense analytical requirements with enhanced scientific or engineering research on issues such as capability or limitation analysis, reverse engineering analysis or characterizations, and facility and vulnerability assessments, including civil or industrial engineering and subdisciplines of environmental, power system, pipeline, petroleum, structural, manufacturing, geotechnical, transportation, highway, material science, seismic or earthquake, construction, hydrology, and water resource engineering. Using your understanding of various collection platforms, you’ll research, analyze, and evaluate classified and open-source intelligence, identify intelligence gaps, and make detailed all-source assessments and quality productions on complex foreign industries issues. In this role, you'll collaboratively integrate analytic results findings or production with other related analytic efforts and assessments. As the authority on your mission, your client will look to you for time-critical recommendations, often under pressure. Lead efforts requiring high levels of technical expertise, engineering knowledge, autonomy, and strategic problem‑solving. Support multidisciplinary teams through analysis, technical collection planning, and the preparation of in‑depth technical assessments. Develop innovative solutions to complex mission requirements. Work without considerable direction. Mentor and supervise team members.

This is a chance to grow your expertise, develop new skills in cross-functional skills, and share your methodologies with other analysts. We focus on growing as a team to deliver the best support to our customers, so you’ll have resources for mentoring and learning new skills and tools. Work with us as we provide the right information at the right time to support the critical needs of our nation's leaders.
