Position Summary
This individual contributor position is responsible for in-depth development of business analytics solutions. This role includes working in collaboration with business stakeholders, other developers, engineers, and analysts to develop data driven solutions.  This is a position that involves gathering requirements, preparing project plans and documentation, combining data from multiple sources, creating new datasets to support downstream reports and analytics and managing customer expectations.

Required Qualifications

  • 5-7 years of analytics experience with advanced SQL programming ability in a data warehouse or big data analytics environment (Stored procedures, SQL functions, CTE’s, nested queries, etc).
  • Experience developing datasets, tables and views to support downstream reporting/analytics
  • Well-versed in data modeling concepts (dimensional/fact, cardinality, normalization, etc)
  • Strong problem-solving skills and critical thinking ability
  • Strong collaboration and communication skills within and across teams
  • Experience creating/maintaining SSRS reports
  •  Healthcare industry experience, including familiarity with healthcare data, reporting, or analytics environments.
  •  Experience working with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and cloud-based data solutions.
  • Located to be in Eastern or Central time zone in USA.



Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience managing and deploying code with Github
  • Experience conducting analysis and working with healthcare claims and services data
  • Experience with Python



Education

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional work experience.

Pay Range

The typical pay range for this role is:

$54,300.00 - $145,860.00

This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls.  The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors.  This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.
