Accountabilities:

    The Conseiller performance opérationnelle is responsible for developing strong business relationships with retail partners and providing operational guidance to help improve performance, profitability, and alignment with strategic programs. The role involves regular field support, training, and collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.

    • Establish, maintain, and strengthen business relationships with retail members and store leadership teams.
    • Support the implementation of retail programs, services, and operational initiatives while providing advisory support to members.
    • Help pharmacy and retail owners improve sales performance, profitability, and operational efficiency through practical recommendations.
    • Encourage adoption of available programs related to marketing, technology, professional services, merchandising, and business development.
    • Contribute to the implementation of strategies designed to increase private brand sales and overall business results.
    • Plan and conduct regular store visits within the assigned territory to assess needs and provide ongoing support.
    • Prepare and deliver business reviews, performance discussions, and recommendations to retail partners.
    • Provide operational coaching and training related to areas such as marketing, ordering processes, technology, merchandising, and store practices.
    • Support the renewal process of retail partnership agreements and maintain long-term engagement.
    • Act as a liaison between stores, internal retail support teams, and preferred suppliers to communicate concerns and facilitate effective solutions.
    • Identify opportunities for improvement and recommend cost-effective approaches to address operational challenges.
    • Requirements:

      The ideal candidate has experience in retail or pharmacy operations, strong business acumen, and the ability to build trusted relationships with diverse stakeholders. They should be organized, results-oriented, and comfortable working independently while managing a regional territory.

      • College certificate or diploma in administration, management, marketing, or a related field.
      • 5 to 10 years of relevant experience in pharmacy, retail operations, or a similar customer-facing business environment.
      • Valid driver’s license and availability to travel within the assigned territory, including Estrie, Montérégie, and Montréal Island regions.
      • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
      • Ability to adapt and succeed in a constantly evolving environment.
      • Results-driven mindset with strong problem-solving abilities.
      • Professional approach with excellent interpersonal and relationship-building skills.
      • Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with internal teams.
      • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
      • Strong sales, negotiation, and influencing abilities.
      • Creative mindset with the ability to identify improvement opportunities.
      • Comfortable using technology and Microsoft Office tools at a basic level.
      • Bilingual French-English communication skills are considered an asset.
