As a Lobby Receptionist in our client-facing lobby, you will deliver exceptional service, collaborating closely with your manager and partner teams to anticipate and meet every need. Your attention to detail and commitment to excellence will help us leave a lasting impression, support seamless operations, and uphold the highest standards of professionalism. By consistently elevating the client and employee experience, you play a vital part in advancing our firm’s purpose and reputation.
Job responsibilities
- Warmly welcome, register, check-in, and assist clients and visitors as they arrive for meetings and events within JPMorganChase’s office space.
- Promptly assist employees by providing temporary access or badges, answering questions, and offering information as needed.
- Consistently follow all building and security procedures to ensure a healthy, safe, and secure experience for all.
- Proactively observe your surroundings, escalate issues, and communicate concerns to appropriate teams.
- Diligently meet and exceed Lobby Reception standards by delivering first-class service.
- Regularly familiarize yourself with meetings, events, and VIP visits using event and visitor management systems.
- Seamlessly collaborate with partner teams such as Global Security, Real Estate, and Technology to enhance the in-office experience.
- Efficiently manage miscellaneous tasks and projects aimed at improving the team’s service standards.
- Professionally maintain a polished and welcoming lobby environment at all times.
- Reliably respond to unexpected situations with composure and resourcefulness.
- Continuously seek opportunities to elevate the client and employee experience through attentive service.
Required qualifications, capabilities and skills
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in high-end reception, concierge, or hospitality services
- Excellent interpersonal and verbal/phone/email communication skills with an outgoing personality
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, quickly problem solve, and manage difficult personalities while maintaining a professional and focused demeanor
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Must be willing and able to stand/walk for long periods of time
- Must be willing and able to work flexible shifts
Preferred qualifications, capabilities and skills
- Familiarity with event, room, or visitor management systems
- Bi-lingual, particularly Spanish-speaking
