Our solutions provide sustainable strategic advantage to Microsoft and enable our customers to achieve more.As Microsoft's cloud business continues to grow the ability to deploy new offerings and hardware infrastructure on time, in high volume with high quality and lowest cost is of paramount importance. To achieve this goal, the Silicon and Manufacturing Packaging Engineering (SMPE)  team is instrumental in defining and delivering operational measures of success for hardware manufacturing, improving the planning process, quality, delivery, scale and sustainability related to Microsoft cloud hardware. We are looking for seasoned engineers with a dedicated passion for customer focused solutions, insight and industry knowledge to envision and implement future technical solutions that will manage and optimize the Cloud infrastructure. We are looking for a Senior Product Engineer to join the team.#SCHIE #CSMEResponsibilitiesThe candidate for this position will be expected and able to complete the following responsibilities and also play the role of a Technical Program Management :Interface with Foundry, OSAT and System Integrators  to drive execution readiness and capacity scalingEnsure alignment on build plans, material readiness, and recovery strategiesLead cross-functional resolution of execution risks across the supply chainDrive alignment across design, test, packaging, manufacturing, and supply chain teamsLead complex problems solving under ramp pressure (excursions, bottlenecks, supply constraints)Influence program decisions with data-driven insights and clear trade-offsATE Test Program Execution and Debug at Wafer and Package Level, includes Test Program modifications.Translate silicon specs (timing, voltage, power, redundancy, security) into robust test coverage and guard-bandingOwn yield ramp from NPI to HVM: yield monitoring, DOE, excursion management, and continuous improvementLead structured failure analysis and RMA feedback loops to improve silicon quality and manufacturabilityDrive test time optimization and cost efficiencyEstablish production system frameworks (capacity, cycle time, output predictability, recovery models)Identify and eliminate scale-induced failure modes (test escapes, yield cliffs, supply gaps)Leverage data analytics / telemetry (e.g. Advantest RTDI, test platforms) for real-time decision makingQualificationsRequired...
