DESCRIPTION:
As a Market Development Specialist I, you will contribute to growth and market presence for Thermo Fisher Scientific's healthcare and diagnostics solutions. You'll be part of a collaborative team focused on implementing go-to-market strategies, analyzing market performance, and supporting commercial excellence. In this position, you'll work with cross-functional partners to drive portfolio development, market initiatives, and launch activities while ensuring data accuracy across our systems. Your analytical skills will be utilized as you identify market opportunities, maintain critical asset information, and develop solutions to enhance our commercial effectiveness.
REQUIREMENTS:
• Bachelor's Degree required, no prior experience required in data analysis or related field within a commercial organization
• Preferred Fields of Study: Biology, Pharmacy, Life Sciences, Marketing, or related field
• Understanding of life sciences research markets and healthcare industry dynamics
• Proficiency in CRM platforms, particularly Salesforce.com, and Microsoft Office 365
• Experience with contract management and asset management software
• Ability to analyze market performance and identify business opportunities
• Data management and analytical skills with attention to detail
• Project management and organizational capabilities
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in cross-functional teams
• Fluency in English required; additional language skills beneficial
• Ability to travel up to 30% of the time
• Adaptability in a deadline-driven environment
• Business acumen and strategic thinking abilities
