Regulatory and Litigation Counsel, Content _corporate_fare_ Google _place_ London, UK; Dublin, Ireland **Advanced** Experience owning outcomes and decision making, solving ambiguous problems and influencing stakeholders; deep expertise in domain. _info_outline_ XNote: By applying to this position you will have an opportunity to share your preferred working location from the following: **London, UK; Dublin, Ireland** . **Minimum qualifications:** + JD, LL.B., equivalent degree, or equivalent practical experience. + Admitted to the bar and in good standing or otherwise authorized to practice law (e.g., have registered in-house status) in the state in which the position is located. + 7 years of attorney-level experience in government, in-house, or at a law firm. + Experience with cross-border litigation or regulatory defence in EMEA. + Experience with legal, regulatory, and litigation matters, including addressing, minimizing and avoiding regulatory risk. + Experience with affirmative litigation, including judicial review, class actions or litigating before the EU Court of Justice. **Preferred qualifications:** + Experience engaging with regulators, such as CnaM, Ofcom and the European Commission, and other content and media/consumer protection authorities. + Experience working with public company boards and their counsel, including special committees and audit committees. + Experience responding to regulatory requests for information. **About the job** Regulatory Affairs helps the company innovate responsibly and comply with laws around the world. We partner with teams across Global Affairs, Product Areas, and the rest of the company to ensure constructive engagement with governments and regulators while mitigating risk. As a Regulatory and Litigation Counsel, you will join an EMEA-based team that leads the strategy for defending the company in responses to governments and regulators. Your role involves defining a defense strategy, conducting investigations, collection and review of information, and representing the company in engagements. Individual pay is determined by factors including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
