The Laboratory Analyst will have previous experience or exposure to GC/MS Volatiles testing. The Laboratory Analyst prepares and analyzes environmental samples using standard analytical techniques according to scientific and EPA methodology in compliance with Eurofins' Quality Assurance programs and SOP’s.Position Summary: responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:Routine sample preparation and analysis of air samplesPerform all documentation, sample preparation and analysis, following SOPs or appropriate methodsDemonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced and productive environmentStrong organization with the ability to follow instructions and SOPProactively communicate production and quality issues to managementAccuracy and attention to detailPrepare standardsEffective communication skills, both written and oralDemonstrate and promotes the company visionUnderstand and use Air Toxics LIMS systemPerform other duties as assignedParticipate in laboratory and other meetingsPerform other duties as required by Company managementQualificationsBasic Minimum QualificationsBachelor’s degree in a science related field is requiredExperience working in a fast paced environmentAuthorization to work in the United States indefinitely without restriction or sponsorshipProfessional working proficiency in English is a requirement, including the ability to read, write and speak in EnglishSkills and AbilitiesStrong sense of initiative, detail oriented with a hands-on approachAbility to work efficiently and accurately within a fast paced environmentEffective communication skills, both written and verbalStrong team working skills and the ability to conduct all activities in a safe and efficient mannerRegular attendance and punctualityAbility to learn new techniques, adapt setup and test equipment to new situations, perform multiple tasks simultaneously, and keep accurate records;Method development experienceProficiency with data processing software and Microsoft programs.Able to perform the physical requirements of the jobDemonstrates and promotes the company visionAble to work a full-time shift (M-F) during training; flexible to rotate weekends and overtime as necessaryAdherence to safety protocol and operation procedures;Excellent customer service; resourceful and collaborative approach in solving problems; function in an environment of constant change and conflicting...
