Electronic Solutions develops the avionics, navigation systems, sensors and electromagnetic defense technology that help aircraft perform safely and with precision. Key Responsibilities:

1. Procurement Execution & Order Placement

  • Execute timely and accurate purchase order (PO) placement aligned to production schedules, MRP signals, and business priorities to support revenue commitments.
  • Ensure all purchase orders are commercially and technically compliant, including pricing, terms & conditions, delivery dates, specifications, and quality requirements.
  • Expedite high-priority and revenue-critical orders in alignment with OTTR and customer delivery commitments.
  • Validate supplier capacity and constraints prior to order release to ensure realistic commit dates.

2. Order Fulfillment & Supplier Commit Management

  • Drive supplier order acknowledgement (SOA) within defined lead-time and compliance expectations.
  • Secure supplier commitment to need date for all critical and constrained materials, with clear documentation in ERP systems.
  • Proactively manage order confirmations, changes, cancellations, and rescheduling while minimizing impact to production and customer deliveries.
  • Monitor open orders daily and take corrective actions on past-due, at-risk, or unconfirmed POs.
  • Escalate fulfillment gaps early and coordinate recovery plans with suppliers and internal stakeholders.

3. OTTR & Revenue Support

  • Prioritize procurement actions to support revenue attainment and OTTR targets, especially for critical programs, customers, and AOG requirements.
  • Align procurement execution with SIOP, production planning, and program needs to ensure material availability for build and ship schedules.
  • Actively support revenue recovery plans by expediting material, reallocating supply, or identifying alternate sources where feasible.
  • Participate in war rooms, shortage calls, and cross-functional reviews focused on on-time delivery performance. 

4. Supplier Performance & Relationship Management

  • Manage supplier performance focused on on-time delivery, responsiveness, acknowledgement discipline, and commit reliability.
  • Hold suppliers accountable for confirmed delivery commitments and drive recovery plans for any deviations.
  • Conduct regular supplier communication, including order status reviews and escalation where required.
  • Partner with Strategic Sourcing, Quality, and Supplier Development teams to address systemic fulfillment issues.

5. Risk Management & Supply Assurance

  • Identify material risks related to capacity, lead time, quality, obsolescence, and single-source dependencies.
  • Actively support dual sourcing, alternate material qualification, and safety stock strategies for supply continuity.
  • Maintain contingency plans for constrained suppliers to minimize OTTR and revenue impact. 

6. Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Work closely with Planning, Operations, Program Management, Quality, Engineering, and Finance to align procurement actions with business needs.
  • Provide timely and transparent communication on supply status, risks, and commitments to enable informed business decisions.
  • Support engineering or demand changes through controlled PO updates and supplier coordination.

7. Compliance, Systems & Continuous Improvement

  • Ensure full compliance with Honeywell procurement policies, SOX requirements, export controls, and contract terms.
  • Maintain accurate and timely updates in ERP systems (order confirmations, delivery dates, acknowledgements).
  • Drive continuous improvement in order placement cycle time, supplier responsiveness, and fulfillment reliability.
  • Support audits and reporting requirements related to OTTR, supplier performance, and order status.

Key Experience & Capabilities:

  • Bachelor’s Supply Chain, Business, Logistics or Operations
  • Minimum 1 year experience in managing global projects, NPI, PIPO, 
  • 2 to 5 years of Procurement experience
  • SAP Material Planning experience 
  • Minimum 1 year experience on Supplier VMI and productivity saving contracts.

 We Value
