Principal Product Manager
Join us making Oracle Cloud the ideal destination for open-source database workloads. We win by eliminating administrative overhead across the entire lifecycle — setup, scaling, high availability, cross-region disaster recovery, observability, and compliance — while delivering the best price-performance in the market. As a senior product manager on the OCI Open Data Platform, you own meaningful portions of this charter end to end: you set the strategy, shape the roadmap, and drive the execution that turns that mission into services customers trust with their most critical data.
This is a high-impact individual contributor role for someone who can operate fluently from boardroom to bug tracker. You will partner closely with engineering, marketing, sales, and customers to define what we build, articulate why it matters, and ensure every release advances our promise of a frictionless, lower-cost home for enterprise databases. Success in this role means customers migrate to OCI because the path is simpler, the operations are effortless, and the economics are unmatched.
What You’ll Do
Own and continuously evolve the product roadmap, translating customer needs and market signals into a clear, prioritized plan.
Maintain a sharp, current view of the competitive landscape and industry trends, and use it to sharpen our differentiation.
Partner closely with Engineering to ship services that meet real customer needs at industry-leading price-performance.
Drive crisp service launches end to end — plan announcements, scope beta programs, and coordinate testing to a high bar.
Work with Corporate and Field Marketing to communicate the value of our services in language customers and decision-makers act on.
Create high-impact collateral — technical and business white papers, success stories, data sheets, best-practice guides, and presentations.
Enable the field by delivering hands-on training to Customer Support, Technical Sales, and key customers.
Represent the portfolio externally at user groups, trade shows, customer sites, industry conferences, analyst briefings, and the Oracle Customer Visit Center.
Build deep relationships with strategic customers to understand how they plan to transform their business and where Oracle can deliver meaningful value.
