Accountabilities

    The Sales Account Manager will be responsible for driving new and expansion revenue while managing the complete sales cycle from prospecting to closing. Key responsibilities include:

    • Build and manage a strong sales pipeline through proactive lead generation, outbound prospecting, and relationship development.
    • Identify new business opportunities and nurture qualified prospects to increase market share and revenue growth.
    • Own the complete sales process, including discovery calls, qualification, product demonstrations, proposals, negotiations, and deal closure.
    • Develop and execute effective sales strategies aligned with business objectives and customer needs.
    • Act as a consultative sales partner by understanding customer challenges and presenting tailored technology solutions.
    • Educate prospects on industry trends, best practices, and the value of modern SaaS solutions.
    • Prepare and manage detailed responses to RFI and RFP requests to support successful business opportunities.
    • Build and maintain strong long-term relationships with prospective and existing clients.
    • Become a subject matter expert on SaaS products and confidently deliver online demonstrations and presentations.
    • Maintain accurate sales forecasts, pipeline reports, and activity metrics to support business planning.
    • Collaborate with sales, marketing, and global teams to optimize customer acquisition strategies.
    • Represent the organization at relevant conferences, industry events, and customer meetings when required.
    • Requirements

      The ideal candidate is an experienced SaaS sales professional with strong business development skills, excellent communication abilities, and the ability to work independently in a remote environment. Required qualifications include:

      • 5+ years of successful experience in B2B SaaS sales with a proven track record of meeting revenue targets.
      • Strong experience managing the full sales lifecycle, from prospecting through contract negotiation and closing.
      • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to deliver compelling presentations and product demonstrations.
      • Strong negotiation, consultative selling, and relationship-building capabilities.
      • Experience managing RFI/RFP processes and creating persuasive business proposals.
      • Familiarity with CRM platforms and sales pipeline management tools.
      • Ability to analyze sales metrics, forecast opportunities, and make data-driven decisions.
      • Experience selling technology solutions or vertical SaaS products is highly preferred.
      • Background working with information management, libraries, archives, museums, government technology, or related industries is an advantage.
      • Ability to work autonomously, prioritize tasks effectively, and succeed in a remote work environment.
      • Fluent written and spoken English skills.
      • Willingness to participate in occasional international conferences or industry events.
