Reimagine the infrastructure of cancer care within a community that values integrity, inspires growth, and is uniquely positioned to create a more modern, connected oncology ecosystem.
We’re looking for a Manager on the Health System Partnerships team to help us accomplish our mission to improve lives by learning from the experience of every cancer patient. Are you ready to be the next changemaker in cancer care?
What You'll Do
You'll be responsible for building and maintaining an engaged network of Academic and Health System (AMC/HS) institutional partners. You’ll collaborate with a cross-functional team focused on retaining our AMC/HS network. You will drive value-driven partnership interactions by ensuring every touchpoint with Flatiron opens with clear purpose and closes with tangible outcomes or next steps, building a track record that positions Flatiron as a trusted, high-value partner. In addition, you will:
- Map and cultivate relationships with key stakeholders including C-suite, research, legal, and business leaders at partner institutions
- Identify and pursue expansion opportunities within existing partnerships
- Lead partnership strategy and contract renewal planning, including capacity allocation discussions with internal and external stakeholders
- Navigate complex institutional contracting and multi-stakeholder approval processes at AMC/health systems, driving new and existing initiatives through legal, compliance, and administrative review to signed agreement
- Synthesize partner feedback on usability, gaps, and opportunities for deeper engagement into structured account plans and metrics that inform retention and growth strategy
- Develop and lead onsite leadership engagements and research showcases with academic partners to strengthen relationships and surface new collaboration opportunities
- Champion Flatiron's internal priorities and initiatives
This role will require ~10% travel for conferences and partner meetings.
Who You Are
You're a kind, passionate problem-solver who values the opportunity to think beyond the way things are. In addition, you’re a collaborator with 5+ years of experience in client facing roles. You're excited by the prospect of rolling up your sleeves to tackle meaningful problems each and every day. You give candid feedback, and value the chance to make an important impact. In addition:
- You hold a B.A. or B.S. degree
- You have at least 5 years of experience working with Academic Medical Centers or Health Systems, delivering products, services or analyses preferably to healthcare customers, in health tech, AMCs / HS, or healthcare consulting organizations
- You are comfortable communicating - verbally and in writing - with various audiences, including academic audiences
- You have excellent time management skills and are able to prioritize tasks and proactively seek solutions or ask for help when blocked from completing a task
- You have the ability to juggle multiple client/customer interactions and deadlines simultaneously
- You are detail oriented and have the agility to work with, develop relationships with and influence a diverse set of cross-functional stakeholders
- You are comfortable with ambiguity
Extra Credit
- You have experience owning client relationships
- You have experience working with oncologists and members of oncology care delivery teams
Where you’ll work
In this hybrid role, you’ll have a defined work location that includes work from home and 3 office days set by you and your team. For more information on our approach to hybrid work, please visit the how we work website.
