As a Developer-Facing Product Manager for Ads & Brands, you will build the tools and frameworks that turn virtual worlds into sustainable businesses. You will spend your days collaborating directly with developers (from solo hobbyists to multi-million dollar studios) to understand how they integrate ad formats natively into their game loops. Your job is to take those deep behavioral insights, marry them with demand-side market realities, and scale our global ad inventory while protecting the core user experience.

You will report to the Director of Brand Ads.

You are

  • Developer-First: You understand that our marketplace doesn't exist without an active, trusting creator base. You fight for fair revenue transparency and frictionless integration workflows.
  • A Systems Thinker: You look at problems through a marketplace lens, instantly understanding how a shift in demand-side targeting affects supply-side fill rates and developer payouts.
  • Data-Driven and Analytical: You rely on concrete experimental frameworks, using A/B testing methods to isolate how ad density impacts player churn and long-term engagement.
  • A Collaborative Translator: You effortlessly turn qualitative developer frustrations into clean, clear, and actionable technical specifications for core engineering squads.

You will

  • Day-to-Day: Meet directly with creator communities to review current layout strategies, dig into platform telemetry data to monitor ad placement performance, and align daily with developer monetization engineers to optimize the SDK integration pipeline.
  • Long-Term: Design and scale a highly automated, self-service developer ecosystem that treats in-game advertising as a premium, low-friction, and predictable monetization lever, solidifying Roblox as the gold standard for creator economy monetization.

The starting base pay for this position is as shown below. The actual base pay is dependent upon a variety of job-related factors such as professional background, training, work experience, location, business needs and market demand. Therefore, in some circumstances, the actual salary could fall outside of this expected range. This pay range is subject to change and may be modified in the future. All full-time employees are also eligible for equity compensation and for benefits as described on this page.

Annual Salary Range$262,190$315,190 USD

Roles that are based in an office are onsite Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday, with optional presence on Monday and Friday (unless otherwise noted).
