Job Description:

Supports Select Health Medicare growth and retention by educating prospects and members on Medicare Advantage products, benefits, enrollment options, and provider access. Conducts inbound sales support, proactive outreach, lead follow-up, and enrollment activities in compliance with CMS, state and federal regulations, and company policies.

Shift is unique since we are required to fill hours required by CMS: 

April-September: 8AM-9PM M-Fr, shift changes daily to make it balanced

October-March: 8AM-9PM 7 days a week, if working a weekend day, we give a weekday off 

Essential Functions

  • Responds to inbound Medicare sales inquiries and conducts proactive outreach to assigned leads, prospects, and members.
  • Educates prospects and members on Select Health Medicare Advantage products, benefits, enrollment options, and provider access.
  • Follows up on leads, referrals, appointments, re-marketing opportunities, and campaign lists to support sales and retention goals.
  • Supports AEP, OEP, and other Medicare sales campaigns while meeting productivity, quality, and compliance expectations.
  • Accurately documents sales activity, outreach attempts, lead status, enrollment outcomes, and member interactions in required systems.
  • Conducts welcome, retention, and member engagement outreach to improve benefit understanding and member experience.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and agents to resolve questions, coordinate follow-up, and support a seamless prospect or member experience.
  • Conducts all sales, outreach, enrollment, and education activities in compliance with CMS, state and federal regulations, HIPAA, and company policies.

Qualifications

  • Two years working in insurance industry in similar role
  • Medicare insurance and regulatory knowledge
  • Intermediate computer skills including experience with word processing, databases, and spreadsheets.
  • Must obtain a resident health and life license within 6 months of hire date and non-resident licenses in Utah, Idaho, Nevada, and Colorado, additional as needed

Physical Requirements

  • Operate computers and other office equipment requiring the ability to move fingers and hands
  • See and read computer monitors and documents.
  • Remain sitting or standing for long periods of time to perform work on a computer, telephone, or other equipment.
  • Interact with others requiring the employee to communicate information.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Two years of customer service experience.
  • Two years working in insurance industry in similar role
  • Medicare insurance and regulatory knowledge.
  • Intermediate computer skills including experience with word processing, databases, and spreadsheets.
  • Must obtain a resident health and life license within 6 months of hire date and non resident licenses in Utah, Idaho and Nevada, additional as needed.

  • AS degree in business, communication or other related business field

The hourly range for this position is listed below. Actual hourly rate dependent upon experience. 

$20.35 - $30.97
