We are looking for an Accounting Specialist to join our Finance team, supporting a multi-entity group structure that includes a fintech company headquartered in the Netherlands and a regulated investment/brokerage entity in Cyprus. This is a hands-on accounting role covering day-to-day bookkeeping, financial reporting, and support for regulatory and statutory requirements across both fintech and regulated environments.The role operates in a structured, audit-driven setting with a strong focus on accuracy, controls, and continuous improvement of finance processes, including automation and the use of modern tools. This is a remote role; however, if you prefer working from an office, you are welcome to join us at our office in Paphos.What You Will Be DoingKey Responsibilities Perform day-to-day accounting activities across multiple group entities (NL and CY) Maintain general ledger, reconciliations, and supporting schedules Assist in preparation of monthly management accounts and reporting packs Support IFRS-based financial reporting processes Assist with regulatory reporting for a CySEC-regulated entity (or equivalent EU regulator) Support external audit processes and provide required documentation Assist with VAT and other statutory filings where applicable Ensure accuracy and consistency of financial data across systems and entities Finance Operations & Process Optimization Contribute to process improvements and automation initiatives across finance operations Support the use of digital tools and AI-based solutions to improve efficiency in accounting and reporting workflows Ensure financial operations processes are efficient, scalable, and accurate What you'll bring: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field Experience in accounting within a financial services environment (fintech, investment firm, brokerage, or regulated entity is a strong plus) Good understanding of IFRS and financial reporting principles Experience with bookkeeping, reconciliations, and general ledger management Exposure to regulatory or statutory reporting in a controlled environment is a strong plus Experience working in multi-entity or cross-border structures is highly...
