The Program Support Assistant (Credentialling Specialist) will be assigned to the Credentialling and Privileging Office, which is under the Chief of Staff at the Spark M. Matsunaga Department of Veterans Affairs Medical Center. Please Note: This position is currently under consistency review and may result in a downgrade/change to lower grade once determination is made
The duties of this position include but are not limited to the following: Comprehensive knowledge of pertinent laws, regulations, policies and precedents. Work with regulatory requirements, policies, and procedures regarding credentialing program issues or concerns Drafting local credentialling procedures Reviewing communications for the credential function Reviewing VetPro reports and managing provider applications Working with purchase card requirements and reconciling monthly charge statements Other duties as assigned Promotion Potential: The selectee may be promoted to the full performance level without further competition when all regulatory, qualification, and performance requirements are met. Selection at a lower grade level does not guarantee promotion to the full performance level. Work Schedule: Monday to Friday, 7:30am to 4:00pm Telework: This position may be authorized for telework (Ad-hoc). Telework eligibility will be discussed during the interview process.
