We make products for the data center, utility, industrial, commercial, machine building, residential, aerospace and mobility markets.What you’ll do: The supplier quality engineer will be responsbile for supplier quality management for components and raw material to ensure successful adherence with customer satisfaction, product safety and compliance requirements, and Eaton standards. He/She will be leading on supplier quality activities to support CPS product and production quality.    Co-work with sourcing, product manager, engineering for supplier qualityWork with supplier in new project development phase to ensure product meet Eaton specification, safety and compliance requirementsTo lead APQP activites to drive supplier's deliverablesAccording to quality goals and key supplier metrics, establish process in driving supplier continual improvementTo lead quality problem solving with supplier, ensure solid root cause analysis and corrective action implementationPerform audits, supplier maunfacturing process validation, to ensure successful launch of product in accordance with Eaton requirementsQualifications: Experience in supplier quality management.Proficient use of quality tools such as FMEA, CP, MSA/GR&R, FAI, Cpk/SPC, PPAPSolid understanding of problem solving tools like 5-Why, 8DKnowledge in ISO 9001 requirements and auditing experienceFamiliar with mechanical parts,electronic components, or electromechanical products,including manufacturing processes, quality requirements, and supplier quality management practices.Familiar with UPS and related productFamiliar with supplier quality managementStrong verbal and written English communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate across global teamsBuild strong internal and external relationshipProactive and have a say from quality perspective, but also collobrative on a teamStrong analytical thinking and problem-solving skillsAt Eaton, we don’t just want to offer you a job, but a journey and experience.
